This is LPU

I choose this college because it has world-level infrastructure and diversity where students come from all over India and also from different countries and placements are also good. All good companies and MNC's come to recruit students. The admission process is easy because it provides many ways to get admission like if you get a good rank in jee, you will get admission with a good scholarship and if you are good in sports and played the game at the state or national level you will get 80-90% scholarship. They also give students a chance to grab good scholarships through their exam LPUNEST and the level of the paper is quite easy. The main reason to choose this college is that we meet people from different states or countries, we get a chance to learn from them and the college also has different-different clubs in which you can learn anything you want at no fee. One more advantage is it provides a high level of security and they also provide a mentor to each student.

I choose Computer Science and Engineering because I am passionate about coding and also love to work on Linux using a terminal. In every class, there are 60-65 students and it also divides into two groups including 30 students in each group, Lectures are held with the whole class and tutorial or practical held in groups only. College also provides a mentor to each student means every teacher has 5-6 students only. Students can talk about their finances, health-related problems to their mentor. All faculty members have 5 or more years of experience but HOD's have more than 20 years of experience and they also provide review forms every month in which they ask how the teacher is teaching if their way of teaching is good. Mid-term exams are held in approx 45 days and end-term are held between 3-4 months and all exams have negative marking and the level of the paper is quite good.

The LPU offers summer internships to the placement registered LPU students only. In summer internships teachers teach students way of work, communication skills, how to work under pressure. There are no internships for other college students in LPU till 2020.

I am a second-year student so I don't know exactly but it may be the 6th semester. Many good companies visit Lpu like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Amazon Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. 610 students selected by Cognizant in one day. The highest package is 42 lac per annum in 2020 and the average package is 5.25lac per annum. 90% of students got placed on-campus placements. My plan is to work in Azure as a cloud architect-engineer.

As the fee of computer science and engineering branch is a little bit high but also college provides a good scholarship if you grab a good rank in JEE exam or if you played at the state or national level. The college itself gives a chance to students to grab scholarships through the LPUNEST exam and this exam is quite easy. College also provides part-time jobs to students and if you have a good startup idea then college also provides you funding.

College annual fest name is Youth Vibe. It is the grand youth festival where more than 10 communities compete to win the audience's heart by giving artistic musical, dramatic and theatrical performances. Apart from this many events are held regularly including sports events, dance events, and many more.

I opt for a hostel in 1 year in college. The price of the 4-seater cooler room is 55000Rs and the mess price for the year is 25000Rs. In the hostel room there provides a table, chair, and bed for each student and they also provide a geyser with attach bathroom. The quality of mess food in our college is quite good in comparison to other colleges, and the menu is also very good. The Registration process is quite easy you can book a hostel room using an online portal or by visiting the admission block. There is PG faculty also near campus and students get the room there at an affordable price and place name is Law Gate.
