Remarks

Admission is through their own entrance that is LPUnest and for that centers are provided all over India and you need to just qualify the merit criteria along with the aggregate percentage of 60% in the intermediate standard. I decided to choose this university because of its popularity as well as good placement rate than any other private colleges. Campus and other different facilities like the university's mall etc are there in this university itself. And Syllabus for the entrance exam is the same as that you will study in 12 for PCM. I took local tution classes in 12 standards along with this the benefits of giving LPUnest entrance exam is that you can get scholarships on the basis of marks obtained in this exam and scholarship varies from 50% to 20%. Entrance exam forms generally release in mid-March. It's necessary to perform well in this exam if you are looking for a scholarship for reducing your tution fees.

I decide to choose this branch as this as the highest placement rate of any other branch apart from that university provide broad exposure to its students. 75% attendance is compulsory. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced and some are very polite and friendly to students. Exams are conducted every 2-3 months and per semester of 6 months. The quality of education is really good in spite of being a private university. Generally, even an average student can get 3/5 very easily.

Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement rates are very good highest placement provided was of 42 lpa and 39 lpa. Generally, 89% of students get placed from this branch. The number of students is fairly high in each branch but then also the university doesn't disappoint in providing placement to a maximum number of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is given on the basis of your score on the entrance exam. Campus placement is fairly good. Recently a student gets an offer of 42 lpa in Amazon but it was off placement and on placement, it can vary from 20-28 lpa apart from bulk placement in which around 200-250 students get recruited. Placement and other job opportunities are high in LPU. Around 500 companies visit universities every year in which popular includes Mahindra, Amazon, etc.

Campus Life

University offers the largest campus in India with strict rules to be followed inside the campus. University has various clubs to improve your personality and leadership qualities. Classrooms are well maintained and the library is equipped all the books of provided courses in the university.

Interview Experience

There is only a written exam conducted by the university and for your conscience centers are provided for it in all India. Scholarships are also based on marks obtained in this exam. Also, if you are an army brat then there might be further scholarships you might be eligible for.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus

Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
