Remarks

The campus is very much greenery and beautiful. The admission procedure is easy, the applicant needs to fill the form for the desired course they can take the admission through the entrance exam of lpu i.e. lpu nest and can a high amount of scholarship or they may take the admission on the basis of any entrance exam like jee mains, etc The faculties of the University are helpful and friendly although some of the faculty aren't perfect and that's obvious even every college and schools have some teachers who are perfect. You are going to explore yourself after coming to lpu because there are so many events held every week from edm's to tech events. You'll enjoy a lot. Talking about placements if you are going to give your 100% then you'll be placed at a good level.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Btech in CSE. Some of the faculties are good and up to the point. Some are not up to the level. They're friendly in nature and always ready to help us whenever we are in trouble. They help us at every point.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

So placements are all about how you are going to perform and how well you are prepared for your placement. If you are going to give your 100% in every manner then ofcourse you'll place in good mnc. It's all about how you are going to perform in front of interviewers. Highest package-42 LPA(in cse)(Microsoft)

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is based on the score you are going to get in lpu nest As early you are going to give your lpu nest then more amount of discount you'll get in your course fees plus scholarship will also be given on the basis of your 12th percentage(extra scholarship)

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is beautiful and amazing. You can go to the official page of lpu on Instagram and have a look at our campus. Many of the Punjabi songs have been shot on our campus. Taking about clubs they are 200+ clubs and there is also a government organization. I'm totally happy with the campus life

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are good. Rooms are available in:- 1 seater 2 seater 3 seater 4 seater I opted for 3 seaters with an attached washroom Actually, every room is attached to washroom They are choices available for AC and Non Ac I suggest are the new admission girls go for Gh1, Gh2 because they are better in comparison to gh5 and gh6.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
