Remarks

College was good. If you have to know about Punjab than must go there everything was very excellent. College management was co-operative and supported us all aspects.

Entrance Preview

Punjab Common Entrance Test. We are into the world of technology and I prefer to choose ECE branch because every equipment or device works on electronics. So to know the principle of working and how it is designed I prefer to choose this branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course for Engineering is very vast and all engineers get very little time to cope up with that syllabus and structure. But as it is well known an engineer can do anything anywhere anytime with there full effort in less time. So I completed my whole syllabus accordingly and well. Typical Subject was Maths. I hate Maths it took long time and eventually i managed to complete that and pass in that.

Internships Opportunities

Yes Internship was provided but we didn't get any stipend. Companies visited our college was HCL Wipro IBM(Allsoft) etc.

Placement Experience

5

In my batch 80 were almost placed out of 120. Average package was 3.2lac per annum. So many get high packages of 6 to 8 lac also because they were topper. Although from my batch all were good students but most of them they started their own business so they didn't sat for the placement. My TPO was very good his reference was awesome and his tackle abilities were ultimate. By his words he has the ability to influence the person to whom he is talking. Because of him several company visited in our campus.

College Events

5

College Fest Fresher's Party Convocation Party Annual Sports Day. I participated in Annual sports Day twice in consecutive years and win a medal and certificate. Annual Sports took around 3 to 4 days to complete. In Fresher every year VIP like singer visit to our college and perform their live performance. Debates were organised in every semester and that was for the students so that they interact with other students of other branch. That too helped us in making us bold and leaving us our shy in expressing something.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was almost okay. My yearly fees was around 70000 per year including every thing like dress security money maintenance etc. Apart from fee we were have to pay for university exam fee. That was around 1500 per semester. Fee structure was feasible keeping in mind the average pay of normal person.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was offered to those students who had secures 80% plus in 12th. Loan facility was easily available within the college premises, We can find any bank member at any time within the working hour in our college. I have taken loan from SBI and that was passes from my college and that was sanctioned in almost 10 days because of the bank members present in our college. They send the documents immediately to head branch and verification was all done in less time.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio was M70:30F, Whenever new batches come to college our seniors organised fresher party and some type of party so that we new can interact with our seniors. There were students from all over INDIA and all were awesome and nice. We all together participated in several function and performed well with great coordination.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel was good. I had my best time while i was in my hostel. All rooms were on sharing basis around 3 to 4 persons would have to stay in one room according to room size. Food was good but not superb. Thus may be because of more number of students living in hostel Hostel fees was 50000 per year.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors after passing from college were in contact with us on social media. They guide us in choosing out career after our college was over. They motivated us always.

Exam Structure

Every semester ends in 6 month and we get that much time to prepare for that. We all enjoyed for first 3 months and in second 2 months we all were busy in gathering knowledge making assignment. Labs were well equipped training's were given to us very carefully so that while in exam time we just only have to go through little work to review what we have learnt. Exams were completed in almost 15 to 20 days so we get that much time to review all thing what we have learned in while semester.

Faculty

5

My all faculty were very nice and ultimate. They always supported us in all aspects. There knowledge and sharing capabilities were very nice and influencing. All were very nice and co-operative. There techniques of handling the students was awesome. I remember one of the faculty her name is Ms. Ranju, she was very nice and polite and her way of teaching was so good and impressive that what she taught was really good and to the point.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
