Remarks

K J Somaiya has a large and beautiful campus. The college has a transparent admission process mentioned on the college website along with important dates. I preferred this college because the professors are experienced and discuss case studies to explain the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue marketing and Integrated Marketing Communication teaches all the aspects of marketing. In the Integrated Marketing Communications course there are 60 students in a batch. Faculty discuss case studies to explain concepts and also take adequate practice by making students solve adequate questions. Exams are challenging. A student needs to study regularly to pass.

Course Fees: INR 1428000 per year

Internships Opportunities

ITC, Britannia, Jio Creative Labs, Venkys, and many other reputed companies offer internship opportunities on campus. Some companies give stipend while some dont. The roles offered are challenging and help the student to learn.

Placement Experience

Reputed companies like Jio Creative Labs, ITC, Venkys, Britannia, and many more visit the campus for offering placements. The average placements for the college are about 12 Lakhs per annum. I plan to take job from campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

College charges 1428000 tution fees for two years MBA Integrated Marketing Communications course. Break up of fees is provided by the college. College also provides hostel and mess facilities. Fees of hostel and mess are told by the college at the time of admission.

Campus Life

Books and journals are available in the college library and also on the college e-library. The campus has a cricket, football, basketball ground, gyms. College also has various committees. Classrooms are equipped with good infrastructure.

Interview Experience

In the interview, interviewers ask questions based on the CV of the student. Students must qualify for the GDPI process based on the cut-off of the entrance examinations. Student needs to perform in the GDPI process along with entrance examination.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

I applied for feweer Colleges but not in Mumbai this was the only college i applied in Mumbai outside Mumbai i applied in Chennai Delhi Bhopal etc but as my parents suggested not to go far away and stay here I got approval too from many of them but when they saw I got approval in kj they said it's nice get this college u can stay here , addmission process is like hetciccccc like I have no words it soo bad , 70% I might say to be eligible cutoff for these exams are not that much so you can be chill bro...Read More

The selection criterion includes cut-off cleared scores of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT, a GD-PI round, past academic records and work experience if any. For CAT and XAT, the cut-off is usually 80-85%ile; for GMAT, the cut-off is 550-600 and for CMAT it is 85-90%ile. The group discussion is case-based.
