This college have number of societies. They take admission on the basis of merit. Their cut off goes near around 95% for general. Admission take place in the month of july. Course Curriculum Overview

I choose b com because it have good scope. No. Of students are going in this field. There are about 200 students in this course. There are different teachers for different subject. Mostly teachers have PHD . There are 2 semesters and exams are moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Leadershaala , My captain , younity , etc are the internships . Many companies come for inters. Mean in every day near abou 20 internships opportunities come. Stipened is according to performance. Certificates like LOR is also based on performance of individual. Mostly projest are based on sales and marketing. You have to do promotion and sales

In last year you are eligible for job. Different companies come from across the world. Many students got job from placement cell. Companies like EY , etc. Come in campus . Many big companies come and they take employess according to their need. Every student get job in one of the company out of them. Packages are acvording to knowledge of student. Maximum package is about 25 lakh after master degree and 6 lakh after bachelor's average packages for bachelor is 3lakh. More than 80+ get job tjrough campus. My plans after degree i will take job in reputated company .

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships on their website. This is girls college so there are many scjolarships for girls. There are many scholarships for sports category also. Fees depends on your choosen course. You have to submit your fees in starting of each year. Fees is moderate . Near about 13000 rs. Fees per year. Scholarships like national portal scheme etc. Are available. There are many internships oppotunities in which you can gain stipened. Gargi college is one of the topest college so they provide jobs to many people. 80% + students got job from gargi college. As they are fresher so their salary lies between 20000 to 30000.

Campus Life

Annual fest take place in the month of feburaray Celebraties come in this fest. Moreover thrre are many events according to the interest of students. There is one annual function also once in a year. There are many books in library according to the interest of student. More than 50000 books in library. You can read online also through the website of gargi.there is very good infrasturucture in vlassroom. Benches and other facilities are good.there are many competitions like poster making , slogan writing , etc. Gargi college is famous for sports activities.there are many sports activities according to interest of student.there are many instagram pages which is running by students like gargi.crew etc. All the societies pages are also available on instagram.

Interview Experience

No there is nothing like this. Admission take place on the basis of merit. There is no group discussion , interview or any other thing. You just have to score high for taking admission in top colleges like gargi.

Likes

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
