Entrance Preview

Unlike other colleges, this college does not have a tedious procedure for admission. It works as a first come, first serve. As it has more seats than other colleges in most of the fields. But as the seats are about to be filled completely. The admission procedure is done on merit of marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is very good.It has plenty of courses other than the syllabus. The only thing where this college lacks is research department. We also cant blame them as so much pressure is on completing the portion, that research has never been their priority.Which should change of course and which will as time goes by.

Internships Opportunities

No our college does not provide internship, that we have to do on our own. But they do guide us on where to and how to.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is the best part of this college. As without any doubt most of the students from VSIT gets placed,i.e more than any other college in mumbai.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are expensive than most of the colleges in mumbai due to the infrastructure that they provide. BSC IT is about 52,000 and MSC IT is about 54,000 and BMS is about 48,000.So the fees are 40-50% more than other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship provided. Though they can let the students pay their fees on EMI. Also free books are provided to the students who rank 1,2 and 3 which of course they have to return as the course finishes so that others can make use of the same.

Campus Life

4.5

I would say 60% male and 40% female which is understandable has courses offered here are male dominated unlike medical and dentistry.

Exam Structure

Internal Exams are conducted to make the students well prepared for university exams.Which is done in a very thought out manner here. There is a weekly test every monday and also there is a mid term exams which make sure that the student is well prepared.

Faculty

4

All of the faculties are well qualified to teach the subjects that they do.And how much they are interested depends on how much interest they bring in the minds of students. All faculties in the college cant do that, its highly unlikely for any college. But their plus point is,they very much care for their students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course culicurumes of collage of mangemnet of compter science , yavatmal is revalvent and provied good foundation in computer science concept. the curriculum is helpfiul for understanding theoretical concept and basic pratical skills. it prepares student for entry-lavel jobs and further studies like msc or mca, however ,it is more focused on traditionla topices and lacks exposure to morden technolokkgies such as cloud computing , data science, and advance fremworks which are importent in todays industry. the teachinf methods are mostly classroom- based with practical session in labs. overall, the curriculum is decent but needs update to match current industry demands.

Remarks:

It's a good institute but you can always be better. The education and knowledge they provide us with is very good. The only thing that drags the institute is proper infrastructure. Being a newer institute we don't have our own college premises and operate in the building of another government institute.
