Entrance Preview

I came in coep through CET exam scoring 177. I joined COEP for it's brand name. It really is a great place to join with a guranted returns in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum covers everything, which helps you to make you life great as a professional as well as personal. There are courses like psychology, biology and some electives on research as well. Companies also come here for the research purpose recruitment.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. There is a great focus on internships in COEP. Various companies from Morgan Stanley to MasterCard to Goldman Sachs come every year for internships. Stipend ranges from 1 lakh to 20000 per month. There is great chance for pre placement offer as well from the interned company.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is guranteed placement in COEP. You won't leave COEP as an unemployed person unless if you wish to for your personal reason. Again all companies come here, VMWare, CIti Bank, DE SHAW, Nestle, Whirlpool, etc. Criteria for most of the companies is 6.5 grade.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are a bit at higher level considering coep is a government college. But as it is autonomus, fees are tend to be a bit higher. Fees increases every year by 3k-4k. But there are various refundable and non-refundable scholarships to help you pay this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are available refundable as well as non-refundable. Interviews are conducted for that to happen. Then there is the bookbank scheme in which we get books at cheap rates.

Hostel Facilities

4

Generally, everyone gets the hostel if your score is even on the average side. Hostel facility is very good and cheap compared to the other hostels. 4 people live in a room. PG can live considering 1.5k per month on an average. Plus hostel has very high spped wifi, lan system in every room.

Exam Structure

Exam has 3 phases, TEST1 TEST2 AND THEN End sem. 1st 2 are of 20 marks each and then end sem is of 60 marks. Practicals carry their separate grading as the separate subjects. Exam pattern is average of chilled and hectic as 2 test1 papers can be on the same day but at the same time your exams finish in just 2-3 days.

Faculty

4

Some of the faculty is newly joined. So, we have to give them some time. Otherwise, old faculties put their heart in. Some faculties also teach after their retirement. But still there are always some low level faculties which find it hard to talk in English.

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
