Remarks

The college offers a variety of courses. Along with it, the extracurricular activities of this college is one of the best in Kolkata. It is one of the premium institutes in the city and comes in the top 5. The college comes under the University of Calcutta, so graduating with first-class honours might be very tough. Apart from this, the facilities and overall faculty of the college is very helpful. And all the process is very fast in the college. Overall good experience and exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is very good for Bcom Hons and BBA. The faculty of these 2 courses are the best. The teachers are well read, educated and helpful. The fests and other co curricular activities of the college is some of the best in the city. The facilities especially the library of the college is very good. The college has its own small turf inside the campus. Attendance is not compulsory so you get a lot of free time for other things as well.

Placement Experience

The college invites various companies to the campus for placements. Doesn't have 100% placements but have good ones. The average pay is somewhere around 3-6 lakhs. Good students also get better packages than this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college follows an increasing fee structure. First year it is somewhere around 37000 and 2-3 thousand increment each year. It might be a bit high compared to other colleges in the city. But the college offers various scholarships and quotas as well. Fees are very less for Gujarati People.

Campus Life

The colleges' fests are one of the best in the city. College also invites celebrities from Bollywood and other fields for various events. The co curricular activities are also something to look forward to.

Likes

Teachers behaviour and their way of teaching
Classrooms are well maintained with air conditioned
Canteen foods are really good tastes and at average price

Dislikes

College union and few seniors are there..
Office staff they are a bit casual approach
There are many books in the library but year wise books takes time to set on the library

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for placement from The 7 semister or the 8th one.. Many msme complanies are linked to this college. Flipkart are one of the best company who hired new recruits from this college. I visited Ardent Computer Msme companies... As an Internship And it's one of the most outstanding company A standard percentage will help you to carry on.. My plan is to give the CAT exam and pursue for MBA

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

Getting admission was easy, I had to first make sure that I was able to fulfil the eligibility criteria of getting accepted in the college, once that was done, I had to fill the application form which is present in the college website.

Remarks:

The ground of our college is way too short. Rather not too short but not enough. The infrastructure is good. We have own individual departments for every stream or courses. The buildings are much big.

Admission:

I want a cafe fill-up the application form and returned home after fifteen days. My college revelt a marit list and I am successful in this marit list , a date was fixed by my college for successfully candidate to addition. I went that day and admitted in the college.

My experience till now at Bhawanipur education society, Kolkata.

I chose this college above any other college because this is one of the best colleges of Calcutta university. And since, I'm pursuing CA course along with my BCOM Hons, the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient which will help me to focus on my CA course in a better way. The merits of this college are - 1) the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient 2) these teachers here are very helpful and supportive when it comes to doubt solving. 3) this college provides us with various co-curricular activities like sports and etc. 4) the campus placement opportunities are very high at this college. The demerits of this college are - 1) this college doesn't provide us with the societies which in turn fails at providing us the exposure needed. 2) the merit-based section division is quite a turn-off as it creates a gap between the academically good students and the average ones....Read More
