Remarks

LPU is good for many aspects but for me, it is bad in some aspects that it has 30000-40000 students. Every day I have to see this huge crowd. Apart from the crowd, the practical knowledge is less. If I say about good aspect then in LPU you get lots of opportunities to showcase your skill.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everyone knows that CSE is the future as well as a good placement rate in LPU. The placement record of LPU is more than 90%. Here in LPU faculty were friendly this thing student benefit it, But one thing more Experience teacher is less But overall those are experienced they that are excellent.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

yes, It offers both on-campus as well as off-campus Internships. Companies like Infosys, Wipro.1 week ago my friend placed in josh technology at 10 lakh per annum. He gets the offer as a software developer. Overall good.

Placement Experience

4.5

Currently, I'm in my third year and my placement is going on. As I already said you get lots of opportunities here In a week 2-3 companies come for the placement you just have to crack it. companies visited our campus TCS, Wipro, whatfix, and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies from person to person as I belong to a middle-class family so for me the fee structure is quite high, but its fee is less than SRM,& VITEE apart from fee structure you get several scholarships based upon your academic or after giving LPU nest.

Campus Life

In LPU every month cultural social program happens If anyone interested then they will participate.ILPU has a vast library it has a library in its mall, In 36 block (central library), The library environment is so nice just go and study if you want to book then you can issue.

Interview Experience

No there is no GD, PI for admission You have two choices either you take admission directly on the basis of the result or you can give LPU nest exam to get a scholarship. The exam was simple it contains 3-section, Physics, Chemistry & Bio.

Other Applied Colleges

SRM UNVIERSITY | BTECH-CSE

The infrastructure is very good as well as the placement record is almost 100% ,that's why I choose LPU.

my overall experience at the college has been good so far
the faculty members are generally helpful
campus life is active with various cultural and technologies events

Dislikes

one thing i feel can be improved is the amount of pratical and industry oriented learning
some claases can be more theroy oriented so more hands on activities and pratical sessions would be beneficial
during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is realvent and fairly comprehensive i choose computer science engineering because it covers importnt ares such as programming data structures data base software development and emerging technologies

A Great College Experience with Learning, Growth and Opportunities

Likes

Good campus infrastructure and modern facilities for students.
Supportive faculty and a good learning environment.
Variety of activities and opportunities for overall development.

Dislikes

Some administrative processes can take more time than expected.
The campus can be crowded during peak hours.
Hostel and mess facilities could be improved further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally manageable with proper preparation. The curriculum could be improved by adding more practical projects, industry exposure and updated topics.

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
