Remarks
I had been looking after the college for quite some time and found out that it offered great placement offers and has abig campus too with a lot of diversity. What else was needed? Good study life, great colleagues and great environment with an awesome placement record! These are the main reasons I attended this college
Course Curriculum Overview
Okay, I chose B.Tech in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) because I had a dream to become a software developer right from my childhood days. The number of students in the university is very high and that is well maintained by the number of faculty too. Exams are conducted on time. Even in the midst of the pandemic the exams were conducted very smoothly.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in the third year and companies started coming from January 2021. I must say that the companies are well rated and regular too. Some of my batchmates recently got hired and are getting stipends from these companies even in the third year. So I think thay the placement of this university has increased a lot.
Placement Experience
Okay the main thing for which I joined the university was because of the kind of placements it offered. Last year a record was set where 100% placement was done for the 2020 batch. That's commendable. Companies do regularly visit the campus and there are a lot of drives going on now and then.
Fees and Financial Aid
Okay for the fees part, I took admission in the college when all the admissions were closed so I only got a scholarship of Rs. 20000. Had I joined earlier, I would have easily got 50K scholarship. The fee structure is decent, I mean 45-55k (per sem) for engineering is totally acceptable. There has been no fee hike for the course but for hostels it keeps on increasing every year.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is great. I mean it has a lot of places where an individual or a group of friends can hang out. There are a lot of stalls in and out of the campus area which serve tasty dishes. Every now and then you'll find a fest or an event going around in the university. I have to say that this part is the strongest here.
Hostel Facilities
I took a 4 seater non-ac room in the hostel and it was good when you compare it with its price tag. You have an air cooler, four beds, four tables and four chairs in the room. Also there are four almirahs there so that you can keep your items safely. Though there is no need of that because the whole area around the room is under 24 hour surveillance. So I think the hostel part is decent enough.
Interview Experience
No, there were no GDs for admissions. There was a single LPUNEST exam which I gave and cleared. The written test was quite well and fairly easy as compared to other University entrance exams. There were four sections I believe. Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English.
