Remarks

LPU has a lot of diversity. Many foreigners are studying here. There is a lot of workshops held generally every time. Academic is designed in such a way that helps normal students to do their best. Bad thing is that the hostel fee is high. The admission process generally starts along with JEE Main time and the entrance exam is very easy to crack and got a scholarship. Even this university has a big Olympics size swimming pool. For extracurricular activities, there is a separate department that has every right to conduct any extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

As my course in Computer Science and Engineering. There is a lot of programming language you have to learn like C, C++, python, java programming language. Apart from this if you have chosen your elective as web development then you have to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel etc. Each course hai 3 CA out of best 2 is calculated for getting results.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

This university gives you the opportunity for internships both on-campus or outside also. If you want to do a summer internship then during the break of two-semester you have to do an internship. Many other companies came here to give internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of this university is very good. The placement cell of this university takes 12,500 as a registration fee then it will allow you to sit in the placement drive. Before taking to placement drive students have to do summer and winter placement class so that students get easily selected.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this university depends on your lPUNEST rank. Generally, the fee is not too much as compared to other universities. There is a fee hike in academic fee or you can semester fee. When you will take admission to this university that amount of fee will be taken to for your whole course. The fee hike is a little bit in the hostel.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life of this university is so lovely as its name. There are two very large playgrounds for boys and girls there is a separate ground. There is an NCC camp in this university if you want to learn NCC then you can do camp.

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
