Remarks
College is quite good in terms of infrastructure and placements. High availability of resources like good teachers, exposure with students from all around the country as well as Foreigner students. class ratio is quite good only 60 students are allowed in class to attend. in terms of bad aspects, College is overcrowded with more than 5000 CSE students which is quite a disadvantage because it was less important for those who need some time to explore new ways of learning. The admission process is smooth as silk, which takes place in May 2017. Infrastructure, placements, and scholarship are three factors that lead to making my decision to attend this college. Collegdunia as well YouTube I chose to select this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) I chose because there are ample opportunities in this field which makes me take admission in this field. Faculty: Student = 1:60, which is quite okay with the structure of the class. Teachers are good in their fields and give their best for students. Most teachers are of Masters as well as PhD holders. After every month we have exams sometimes it's tough and sometimes it's moderate and sometimes it's easy. So there is a huge variation.
Internships Opportunities
University starts to offer students for the internship after registering for the placements. Either he can join an internship on campus or he can join through off-campus depends on the student. A lot of good companies come for the internship offers. I don't apply for any internships so I don't have any particular knowledge about this.
Placement Experience
From third year students need to register for the placement, through the University website. Those who willing to register need to pay 10000 for the placement registration. A lot of companies visit universities for campus placement and almost every student gets placement, and the package varies with the skill of the students. The highest students get 4000000 and the minimum of 350000 and the average package is 450000. Almost 75% of students get placement. I'm looking to pursue my career in Business Management, so I will go for MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fees hike policy if you get admission with annual fees of 120000, So now you have to pay the same fees till you complete your college no fees hike. For me its cost around 120000. Through LPUNEST I got a scholarship of around 40000 because my per semester fees were 100000 and early it's 200000. We get financial assistance if we want for a limited time like if we want a fee extension we can get it for a limited time. Job is upto the student.
Campus Life
Every year University conducts a lot of fest in terms of cultural activities, tech fests, and many more. Two main events happened every year one is OneWorld which takes place in September and India in March. Coke Studio events also happen here. The library is huge and lots of books and articles are available here. Library keeps open 24*7. A lot of sport's events take place here. State-level as well as national level. High standard swimming pool, as well as a sports auditorium on the college campus, is there. A lot of clubs are there which are organized and managed by students with the help of faculties and management. Clubs variety of different types, some technical, some social clubs, some cultural and many more.
Hostel Facilities
We got a table chair and Almirah in the room . Tubelight and plugs. Attached washroom. Meal quality comes with lot of variety but not upto the mark , sometime it's tasty and sometimes it's worst. You can check availability of hostel on the site of the university as well as you can register for hostel through the website of the hostel. In Law gate i rented a pg .
