Remarks

I have given many entrance tests and cleared some of them and at last, there were some colleges from which I have to decide. So I just decided on Lovely Professional university because of its placement percentage and the good curriculum. I asked some previous students and at last some research and everything This university came out to be best for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is really good and the faculty members are well educated but with less experience and most of the faculties were around PhD holders. The university always provides us to give feedback for faculty and the course so there was always improvement going on the basis of feedback. The term exams were always good with a good environment and always from the syllabus and some value-based questions. So if you are thorough with the understanding you can easily clear them.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College provides students to go on an internship with stipends. Normally most students from my batch got internships in IT companies with stipends. Those students have to work on live projects and create an individual project for the semester End term. They have to just give the End Term Practical where they will show the individual project what they learn and how do they made it with the whole process and they should be cleared from their manager where they had done internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the third year that is from the 5th semester, students become eligible for the placements. Some of the famous companies that come for placement are Amazon, TCS, cognizant, Capgemini, DXC, L&T, Evosys, Deollite, NCR, etc. The highest package can be from 30-40 LPA, and the average package can be from 3.5-4.5 LPA. Around 80-90 percent of students get the placement. And those who do not get placement college provide them extra classes for learning so after a degree they can join the company from that learning. Around more than 2000-3000 offers are made in B.Tech Computer Science this year. My plan after my degree is to join the company I am placed in.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure was also the main reason to join this university. The Fee structure is lesser than the other private university in India. They provide you scholarships on the basis of board results and the entrance test that was LPUnest. So the fee structure was affordable for middle-class families in India and that too they provide good placement opportunities.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on the campus is a little bit crowded but you can become someone special around. As in the university, there were many curricular activities with the many clubs to join from technical to non-technical to your interest and passion. The availability of books and journals is really good they have around 4-5 floors of the library with almost every book and journal of each and every topic and stream. There are many sports and you can even register for them and can practice for AIU.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel was good and there were many options from 20seater dormitory to 1 seater room just the difference was the price and availability of free electricity till particular unit. Some rooms had the ACS and some cooler and the price varies according to that. I had the 4 seater cooler room and the fee for that was 49500. The meal quality was average. The room was just good.

The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
