Remarks

1) The college is known for its great placements. There is a lot of scopes because more than 500 companies come here. The security is very tight. More than 4000 cameras installed which is far more than Indira Gandhi International Airport. Mouth blowers are also installed which means you can not even smoke or drink here. 2) If you have 90% either in 12th or 10th, you are eligible for a 30% scholarship which is for the full 4 years. If you get 90% in both 12th and 10th, you are eligible for the highest scholarship i.e. 50% (without entrance exam). 3)The crowd and environment are the same as that of schools. Very strict rules regarding discipline. 4) Admit.lpu.in

Course Curriculum Overview

1) I want to become a game designer. 2) Very good. If you are unable to understand you can complain to your college and they'll surely do something about that in 4-5 hrs. 3) Highly qualified teachers with a good graduation record. All basics were clear and very friendly. 4) Exams are quite easy if you study only in the class. You'll easily pass what matters is how good you score.

Internships Opportunities

Almost every day Lpu provides you with internship opportunities. If you are participating in most of the educational programs definitely your cv is going to be attractive and your chances of a good package will increase. They have hackathons too and many more competitions to increase your competitive skills.

Placement Experience

On average, a student gets a 4L+ package. All I can say is that the average package does not matter I can assure you that. If you are determined for your goal in life no one can stop you from doing that. Lpu will give you everything you will need to do that. Around 95% of students get placed here with more than 70+ students above 20Lpa out of 4000. If you have a good cgpa, you'll surely get placed above 9Lpa. I have two plans in mind: a) If I don't get a handsome salary then ill go for MBA. b) If I get a good package I would opt for the job then.

Fees and Financial Aid

1) Fees is not high as compared to other colleges. A middle class student can easily study in this college. It would cost you around 15L for the full course( hostel and scholarship excluded). 2)You can get job offers from abroad too.

Campus Life

Not know much because I am attending online classes from the start. You can ask the 2nd or third year students .they would know better than me. To be honest I haven't seen my college yet and that's why I cannot tell you regarding all of that. All I can say is that everything is available inside. From malls to hospital everything is present there. You can play all types of sports there even squash.

Interview Experience

If you have marks lower than 90.0% in either 10th or 12th, you have to appear for the lpunest examination. Its a quite an easy exam that is conducted online and is fully MCQ based without negative marking. The exam is a total of 270 marks in which questions related to your stream are asked. If you score good, you can also apply for a scholarship through your exam results. Note: If you are getting more scholarship from your 10th or 12th percentage, you can apply through that also. It's up to you.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
