Remarks

Firstly good about the college is the architecture, and the environment for peaceful studies is very good. And the bad thing is south Indians face a lot of troubles with the food we get inside the university. Later on, we can on. The admission process is very good and easy enough to complete within a couple of hours and good hospitality. The reason why I preferred LPU is there is a lot of opportunities to get placed in the best company. The website I used for this college is www.lpu.in.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The reason why choose the stream BTech cse is due to the present trend towards this course many of the students getting into this stream hired with a huge amount of packages and a lot of skills acquired from the course. Faculty and teaching are very good enough that they explain every concept step by step from the basics for new concepts. Coming to the qualifi8of the faculty most of them are PhD's and MTech qualified from IIT's, NIT's and universities. Term exams were fair enough to get good marks as if you study well and understand the concepts well. Students ratio may be approx to 35k strength.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

An internship can be done in the 6th semester to get placed in the company and also university provides the internships related to the course they preferred. Or else the students can choose the internships from the outside of the university can get placed into the university.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements place a major role in this university why because a large no of companies come every year to recruit the students from the university to their companies with small packages to high packages on the basis of their skills and knowledge towards the course they opted for. Big companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, come every for the campus drive for the placements. With huge placements. And moreover, the students can sit into the placement drive for the interview in the 6 semesters i.e in the 3 years itself and 4 years too. Around 70%of the student getting placed into different companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structures are very fair and good enough to afford a middle-class student. We can the entrance exam of LPU University is called as Lpunest. Where you can get scholarships according to your performances. Scholarships given on the basis of the score they get in the entrance exam and the scholarships percentage given to them is 10-40% behalf of their actual fee. Moreover, the campus interviews are more precious for the students and their ability to grab the interviews according to their skills and marks their score in their semesters. Opportunities are more enough for this university.

Campus Life

5

The campus is full of eye feast for a fresher student with big infrastructure and architecture in the University the blocks were very beautiful and designed well for the easy movement of students and faculty. And the greenery is more in the university. Coming to the fests, clubs, every week and every month there will an event related to technology, culture, society, music, etc. The library is the biggest among the university. Containing many types of books related to their program. And mac labs are awesome. Classrooms are well designed for the students for the good ventilation and seating arrangements, air conditionings, projectors. Clubs are common for every student in the university their are sports clubs, culture clubs, technology clubs, and internship clubs where you can get skills and certificates from different clubs.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are one-seater, two-seater, three-seater four-seater, five seaters and dormitory for the students where a group of 8 students live. Including Apartments from 1 seater to 6 seaters. Hostels containing AC and non-ac. That can be dependent on the students and the hostel mess was good only vegetarian food is provided for all the students in the university no non-veg is served to the students in the hostels. You need to go outside of the university to get good non-veg food. Why beauty no non-veg is allowed into the university. Hostel registration is easy once the admission is over it will be taken care of by the management itself based on the student requirements.

Interview Experience

4.5

Actually, there are no group discussions and interviews for the admissions there is an entrance exam called Lpunest. Just you need to crack it. By the score, you get according to the university they give the scholarships for the program you have selected.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
