Remarks

For the marks that I had gained in my 12th and 10th, I was getting a pretty good scholarship which makes my course fee more affordable than many other universities that's the main reason I choose LPU. I have done the right thing joining LPU because it provides so many options, ways for students to build their path. If you put effort, study hard, learn some knowledge, LPU gives you the way to build your career. But don't expect too much that you are gonna get a 1Cr job or a 45 LPA jobs like they (LPU) are advertising. If you get skill and Knowledge, you are gonna land on a pretty decent job (5-12 LPA). Ps: The overstrength of the campus population makes you feel like nothing special, you just blew in the wind like dust particles.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is good. You can get a good mentor or a lecturer based on your luck. The class strength approx contains 60 students. But the girl's boys ratio will be like 1:10 which doesn't make you feel like you are in a ComputerScience class.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide any internship offers. You have to get it on your own. But some times there will some camps outside of your class and they may offer some of the internships. Having a network with the seniors will be so helpful to find an internship on the campus.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, you will be eligible for campus placements. But remembers shouldn't have any reappears or backlog to be eligible for Placements or else you will not be allowed with good skills and knowledge, you can land a decent job with a 5-12 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is pretty decent. If you got 90%+ in 12th. You can get a scholarship up to 1lakh which makes the course fee reduced to 93000/annum. 2000+ extra for examination fee. You can rarely find an on-campus job.

Campus Life

If you are a Social guy who has an interest in games and extra circular activities LPU is the best place. There will be an event almost every two weeks occurring in LPU. It has a good Library too, you can get all the course subjects from there.

Hostel Facilities

The price for the hostel rooms is pretty high. You have to pay for the hostel and mess separately. If you opted for a four-seater, Non AC with meals its costs around 85000 per year, without meals-55000, with Ac-65000.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Interview Experience

There will be no Group discussion, interview questions or test. Anyone can join in LPU, even a just passed put in 12th can get an admission. But what makes you different is the course fee, with good marks in the entrance exam or 12th, you can get a scholarship up to 1,50,000 per annum.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
