Remarks

I choose this college for getting a good placement and enhance my knowledge. This college is good in many fields but there are too many students and rush due to which competition increases and grabbing things become hard. I got admission to this college through an online process in 2020 in the month of September. I prefer this college because of its placements and opportunities. Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I wanted to go into this field. There is almost a 3:10 ratio between teachers and students. Teachers are well qualified with PhD degrees. The teaching method is also good. There are many exams that help in between the sem including CA, midterm and end term. They are not too hard neither too easy.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 146000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that provide internship facilities. Companies like google, amazon etc. There are many other companies which provide internship and help you to work on your interpersonal skills, communication and gives you experience about how to work and how to manage your job.

Placement Experience

From the 5th or 6th semester students are eligible for placements. There are many companies that visit our college like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. The highest package is Upto 40,00,000 per yr to approx 80,000 per year. The student should have got more than 85% for good placement. After getting a degree either I would work for any company in which I would have got placed it apply for jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for CSE student is 98000 per sem. After getting 25% scholarships I have to pay 73000 per sem. There are other fees also like examination fee 5000 year and mess and hostel fees are separated.

Campus Life

The campus is pretty good and large. You will get all facility like canteens, malls, etc. There is a big library with all kinds of book you would need. There are sports activities also And lots of extracurricular which would help you to build up your confidence and you would enjoy it too.

Hostel Facilities

There are many options for a hostel. You can choose according to you. The mess also has lots of option at different rates and menu. You can choose north Indian or south Indian any option which suits you. You can opt for 4, 3 or 2 times meal in a day and so you have to pay according to that.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Interview Experience

Yes, there was a written entrance test called lpunest which included all MCQ type of question based on 11th,12th studies. The admission process was online mode only the management of lpu keep on interacting with us and provide all information which is required. I prepared well and revised my 11th and 12th notes.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
