Remarks

Because of good faculty, they help us in every tough condition. They guide us on what should we do from the beginning to become a good engineer. College provides you 1 mentor which helps you to take a good decision and send us on the right path they also tell us how to improve our marks. And the college has a website name as us where everything is available from study material to attendance and many other things it helps us and makes our work easy we don't need to go and ask for others about anything everyone will get some information and at the same time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are very helpful they provide very good study material and they also teach very well they all have good experience and make every single concept easy. Ete will be conducted in May for the summer term and for the winter term ete will be conducted in December. And in between ete mte we have ca which help us to score good marks in ete and mte.

Course Fees: INR 154000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides internships in very good companies. You will get an internship in 3rd year. And many students also get a permanent job in internship and secure their career. You will get an internship from college only and you don't need to roam here and there for an internship.

Placement Experience

Many MNCs comes to college like Amazon, Cisco and many other and recently 11 students get placed in Amazon with very good package. The average package of the college is from 7-8 LPA. Most of the students get placed from college. From the 5th semester, you will be trained for the placement. After getting a degree my plan is to get placed in MNCs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee depends on your marks in LPUNEST if you score good marks in LPUNEST you will get 35% off in fees and the cut-off depends on the exam only they don't have any particular cut off it depends on the exam only. You can also get a scholarship on your 12th results if your 12th percentage is 90+ then they will give you a 35% scholarship. And they also have an examination fee of 5000 each semester. If you are confused about placement then you don't need to because they have a good strategy for placement from 3rd year they guide us on how to get in a good company and if you study well you will definitely get good placement.

Campus Life

In the library, you will get all books related to your course. In LPU it is the best thing you can get every book from the library and you don't need to buy any book. The classroom is very good. There are many sports activities happen in college now they also organize eSports tournaments. In lpu you can also pursue your interest side by side you get all facility there.

Interview Experience

There will be an exam which is compulsory to clear for taking admission. The name of the exam is LPUNEST. You don't need to get scared because they will only ask 12th level questions it's syllabus is also available on the college website. When you fill the form for admission then one person from LPU will tell you all the other processes and how to prepare for the exam and if you want you can also attend a mock test which will help you to know the level of question. University also provides study material previous years question of the exam on the website you can also go through it.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
