Remarks

LPU- A brand name in the history of private universities. From India's top 3 best universities and if you look at the learning criteria it's gonna best. If you want to take admission you can take it through their official website or any other mode. I recommend the website because in this critical covid situation it is the best and secure way. Professors are really too helpfull and supportive. You have mentors to discuss if you have any type of problem. As a student, I would like to say that yeah, I choose the right campus for my successful future.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose b.tech(computer science and engineering) because I have an interest in programming and computers. Infact I look for a bright future in it, and with LPU definitely, my dream comes true. Yeah, competition is tough because the student ratio is high in that field. Exams are quite high than the normal level, and negative marking is also preferred for online exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Yes, our college offers too many opportunities for students. Even you have a chance to shift abroad for your studies in some other countries like Canada. And opportunities like sports and internships are held from time to time.

Placement Experience

3.5

As I told before that more than 100's of companies visit. So, the placement ratio is also high probably. The highest package is 29lacs per anum. Offered by a company. And the average package is 3lacs. After getting a degree my dream is to be a member of a popular company like google.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have many chances to get scholarships like based on IIT results, 12th and 10th marks, or by entrance exam. You get some discount on fee.job opportunity is also much more than other universities. Many highly explored companies and industries arrived at choice students. And yeah our campus cleared this stage at a high rate.

Campus Life

4

Till I have not seen how our campus infrastructure looks in reality. Because we followed government instructions and our campus has not opened due to this covid-19 situation. But very soon when it opens I would enjoy it too much as I heard from the seniors. Studying environment, grounds, every type of sports ground and equipment. Am really very very excited.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yeah, actually I haven't tasted that food. But am sure that there will no complaints about it by looking at infrastructure and learnings. It coasts approx.70k per year for a standard 5 seater ac room. Yeah, I think it's not too expensive. Many types of dishes are in a list of mess. You can choose any type of food such as Haryanvi, Punjabi plate, Tamil, or any other. Too many quality dishes are available.

Interview Experience

4.5

I think any university should not take this type of hardels in admissions. Yeah, the entrance exam is alright but group discussion is not a way to judge someone's ability. And happily, our university has not such type of obstacles. So, we don't have to prepare for any discussion or interviews. You have to clear only the entrance exam to take admission to the campus. And also you get some advantage in fee if you got good marks.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
