Remarks

I attended this college because I have no chose left. I want to take admission in CSE branch and rest other colleges were not giving me. This college has good infrastructure and provides a good quality of exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some teachers are good, I will say great but many of them are not good. Some teachers are IIT passed out. Many of them are LPU passed out. Exams are taken once in 3 weeks of all subjects, every average student can score about 60%.

campus placements all depend on the student, LPU provides you a lot of opportunities. from 7-semester student becomes eligible for campus placements there are many companies which visits LPU, around 500 companies, which is much higher than every other college. the highest package is 40 lakh. percentage of students placed is very less as they take admissions of all kinds of students. if someone did not get the campus placement he/she can go for after-campus placements, these details you will get from teachers and your friends.

Fees and Financial Aid

LPU has many scholarship schemes based on your 10,12, LPUNEST exam. fees are a little bit high according to me to what they provide. but if you can get the scholarship it's good. if you got more than 90% in 10,12 you will get a 35% scholarship if you get more than 80% you get 25% if you take admission as early as possible, you will get more scholarships because they decrease the scholarship time by time.

Campus Life

I will say that this is the one factor in which LPU stands above all the colleges. life at the campus is very good you got lots of this to do, meet new people, etc. Yes in terms of library LPU is so good for the rest of the colleges. A lot of activities are run by students and the college such as modeling, dancing, singing, poster making, etc.

Hostel Facilities

I have not seen the other college hostel except mine. They provide sufficient facilities to the students. the rules and regulations are very strict in the hostel as well as on campus. In a room, they provide you a bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc. hostel fees all depend on you, if you take an AC room obviously you have to pay more. if you want you can take 1,2,3,4 sitter room, they have apartment facilities also. hostel facilities are very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Everyone can take admission in LPU. If you can pay the fees, you are welcome.

Interview Experience

No there is not any group discussion, interview. the written test is also not mandatory if you want you can give the only purpose of written test is to get a scholarship but even if you score 10-20%, it's ok no problem, they will take your admission only you will not get the scholarship

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
