Remarks

Because of its placement records. Even my brother placed in reputed company last years which motivates me to join this college for sure. Also i have researched about all college ranking this college gives me thats comfort for which i am looking for. I am not that much capable to qualify IIT but my dream to become Engineer is full files by this college. i am glad to be here in this college not because of only its academic while also in other curricular activities and facilities. My dream to because good sport person and this college has large campus includes several Sports which also enhances me to join. All over till now i am not satisfied with class not because of college while of pandemic . Online class didn't give that feel for which i have join college. I hope college will open soon with full strength.

Course Curriculum Overview

Ya i can say faculty are very supportive. Some all even replying at 11PM . Some of them provided us their personal contact and said message him for any type of help. Also one whole department for mental support in this era of online class which is huge over any other this. They not only ours academic problem also helping us for Mental. Make us mentally strong not to give up soon. Give more motivation and get us to work on out weakness and cross over our goals.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 117600 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As i am new addmission last year and still attending online classes. Still i haven't joined any of them. But i got listen to that they are providing some but from external source mainly. Thats help students to earn their pocket money and also give opportunity to work and learn with a big experienced teams.

Placement Experience

The maun reason to get admission in LPU is placement records. My brother was also placed from same college last year so i can trust LPU Fully. LPU brings us Companies and now its our duty to perform good and grab the opportunity to get job..

Fees and Financial Aid

I cant say fee is too high as same cant say too low. I only thing i know i am here because my father afford this college. I scored good marks in my 10th and 12th and got 40% academic scholarship which reduces my 32,800 per semester which means a lot for me. Not know much about financial assistance. And for jobs its placement is all over good.

Campus Life

4.5

I have been attempting college from my first day i even not visit the campus so i cant say much. But till now experience i got a very good friend circle of 4 friends and we are enjoying, helping, discussing and learning new things daily. Their are clubs but i am not much interested to join online. I will definitely join in offline classes. Infrastructure is fabulous. Very large campus will all your needs . I am big fan of campus of lpu and awaiting for college to reopen physically soon

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
