Remarks

I was targeted to get a seat in NIT SILCHAR and for that, I have been in Kota for one year regarding that but unfortunately corona wave hits and in that process, I lose my connection to that study we had before. So since I had no other option to do that's why I had come to L.P. U college as I had read the reviews that this is a good college and placement is also kinda avg. So I join it on September 12 2020 and since I haven't seen this college yet bcoz of the pandemic so I can't tell everything about the college but as per my experience the college is good as per the online classes it's also nice .. Faculties are responsive we have doubt classes, online projects and many more and as I am a computer science student I have heard that? they also have many coding tests and projects to simplify the quality of coders and I think it will boost your knowledge about the subject and will help very much in the placements. But make sure you have a certain amount of money as it's not that cheap

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Faculty members are good some are very good some are just ok but in every semester I have got atleast three best of the best teachers so I won't complain about it till now but as per the semesters will go on.I will give updates about these things. And apart from that as an engineering student, you are going to get a lot of projects to remind you that you are going to get a hell of a ride as it will always there for you to complete the tasks given but it's ok. And regarding the actual interaction of teacher-student is good

Internships Opportunities

4

Yeah, that's a good topic to discuss upon. Yeah they will provide all the necessary things regarding the internship and you will be more than happy to know that almost everyone gets an internship in companies and get a decent amount of stipend ( I know only for computer science students ) if you are very good then chances are very high that you might get a big company for internship and they can hire you also as per your performance so yeah Internship is good as per my knowledge

Placement Experience

3.5

Everyone's dream to take a huge CTC or placements are product-based companies like Amazon Microsoft google can be done here as I have heard many of them getting placed in big companies every year and our sir has also told us that this year's highest package is somewhere about 54lakhs per annum so yeah thats huge but dont dream now because the avg package is only 4 lakhs and persons who get above 20 lakhs are actual geeks as they know very much everything about coding and applications so if you want to be that great you have to give every aspect as this is not going to be cheap.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple as 96000 rupees per semester but this is only the skin as you will get lots of scholarships in between as I'm getting 34000 scholarships per semester. Yeah it's a big-budget college as of the fees but they have said that the money will worth it as they will provide many benefits so I won't complain till now but yeah it can be over budget for some students but it will be ok if you get a high package

Campus Life

4.5

I haven't been to college yes as because of this pandemic so I can't tell you about but seeing the YouTube videos I can tell that this is a gorgeous campus but one thing I don't like about the college is that its air quality index is very low about 155 avg so it can be an issue for some potential patients. But apart from that everything is good and beautiful

Interview Experience

3.5

No G. D. Only a simple test If you have given the 12 boards with a little study. It will not be that tough questions are simple and easy anyone can do it. There will be 180 questions in total and 1 question for 4 marks and you have to earn only 100 I guess, It depends as per the course but I think this will be more than enough.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
