Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

To choose a course, you should be sure what you are really interested in. I chose CSE because I have a lot more interest in coding. The faculties I received were very experienced and calm, all the doubts were cleared in the class itself. No worries, LPU has the best faculties for every subject in the CSE department. Almost all the faculties have Doctorate in their particular subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, LPU offers internship. There are very many internship drives that take place on the campus and almost every student needs to pass the exam for the internship and if a student is able to pass he gets an internship of 6months to 1 year of an internship. There are many MNCs that provide internship in the LPU as they come for the placement drive same time they come for the internship to and the internship is provided by MNC company like Microsoft Apple Google extra.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is a special department alloted for placement. Every year various MNCs like Google Microsoft Apple HCl Infosys Facebook, etc come on campus take the placement drives. Highest package 45 lack per annum. Lowest: 5 lack per annum Average: 15 lack per annum. Almost 80% gets placement other 20% opt for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year a new fresher gets a +10000 fee hike than seniors. I am currently having 98,000 Indian rupees as a tution fee and with scholarships of 40%, I pay 58,800 Indian rupees as a tution fee every semester. LPU also provides part-time jobs to students. If a student gets above 9+ CGPA then the student gets stipend/scholarships of almost 15000 per year. Stipend also increasing based on CGPA.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on the campus is very good. There are many clubs with arranging many tech fests and art competition. There are 3 libraries in which 1 is for only and others boys or unisex. Classrooms are fully A/C rooms. There are smart boards, projectors and there is an auditorium for big functions. There are one indoor sports auditorium and indoor swimming pool, basketball, archery, shooting.

Interview Experience

4.5

There was an online test LPUNEST. There were almost 30-45 questions. There were physics-mathematics-chemistry-English. Just prepare with all the class 11 and class 12 units. It will be 280 marks almost. You will get 55% scholarships for above 245+ marks. You will get 45% scholarships for almost 205-245 marks. You will get 35% scholarships for almost 150-205 marks. You will get 25% scholarships for 100+ marks. But in CSE & Robotics we 40-30-20% scholarships even if you get 45-35 etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
