LPU is a dream college

LPU provides a platform to succeed. The first thing that I like is placement records. As per record, approximately 60% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary package offered here is 42 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 5.4 LPA. Mostly all the product-based companies ranging from mass recruiters to reputed companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visit here for placements. Developers, testers, software engineers, machine learners, etc., roles are offered in our course. The admission process is quite simple and easy. I suggest you appear in the LpuNest exam it is an entrance exam and you can easily get a scholarship. The thing I don't like is in the hostel the internet is limited, there is a per-day limit. But it is not a big issue but at the same point, PG gives more value.

The teachers here are very helpful, highly qualified and experienced. They teach well, but there is a hectic schedule as there are CAs, assignments and many more things. If students want to study, LPU provides many things free of cost. Many competitions are conducted in which we get some scholarships. In our class, there are 70 students and I think that's a good student to teacher ratio. The CA, midterm and end-term exam are not difficult to complete or pass out. The level of exam is moderate. And the exams or CAs are also done at a proper schedule and the students also get sufficient time to revise and clear their doubt before exams, so there is no such stress on students. The teaching quality is excellent. The faculty members are well qualified and lead us to betterment. They provide almost everything they could. They help us wherever necessary. Moreover, they are best friends to us and provide industry exposure as well.

Many students got internships in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years. They also provide a chance to do a summer internship etc. 50-60% of the students got internships in Microsoft, Amazon, and many other companies. SDE roles are offered in our course. 14-16 LPA. LPU provides internship opportunities from the 3rd year onwards and also does its best to provide us with an opportunity to enhance our skills by providing access to various platforms for free. From the first year onwards, it provides you with free AMCAT tests, and there are many platforms made by LPU itself to brush up your skills. It provides access to Hitbullseye, Prefectice, Exam, and they even conduct internal assessments on CodeChef, HackerRank, Coding Ninjas etc. During the pandemic, it provides us free access to Coursera, where many of my friends and I did valuable certifications, which cost 28,000-30,000. Otherwise, it is not possible for everyone to pay for these certifications.

From semester 6th onwards I think the placement is offered. Students with minimum approved CGPA and no backlogs get placed. About 80% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered to date is 42 LPA, and last year, the highest salary package offered was 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering and TCS. Internships are mandatory for students, and about 60% of the students did paid internships. Others also did unpaid internships. Local companies and companies like TCS and TM have regularly taken most of the students. Customer or tech support, junior software developer and HR are some of the common roles offered. Around 40-50% of the students graduating in the 2021 year got placed till now. Less number of companies came this year for the cybersecurity branch in B.Tech (CSE). The highest salary package offered in Lovely Professional University is around 14-15 LPA.

If you are good at technical skills, then it is enough. You don't need to join a big university as you will get a lot of chances to prove and to grab high salary packages here. If you are a financially middle-class student, I do not prefer to join this college because the fee is very high. However, they provide scholarships, and then it might reduce your fee. The fee for treatment by the doctor is free, but you have to pay for medicines. There is scope for sports, and some games activities are conducted in our college. The hostel price is pretty high for a 5-seater hostel with an AC fee for 2020 was 65000 per annum, and the mess fee was good i.e 25000 for 2 meals per day, and the 3-day meal price is also not high there is a slight difference. No non-vegetarian food is provided, but you can eat outside the campus. All types of food items are available for North Indian and South Indian students. You can choose Haryanvi, Rajasthani food as per your taste or region.

LPU doesn't lack infrastructure and facilities. LPU has wide Wi-Fi coverage at every corner. Labs have decent computers, and every classroom is fitted with projectors and air-conditioners. There are 3 libraries within LPU, and each of them has air-conditioners. There is also an online library option. Hostels are decent. Everyone is entitled to a 1 GB super-fast internet connection every day and unlimited low-speed internet. The mess of hostels is bad. Most of the students prefer to eat in the stalls which are available outside the hostel. There are many options for students to eat. The opting hostel gives you 24x7 medical attention, and if something happens to you, a full-fledged hospital with an ambulance is available inside the campus. There are a lot of grounds for each sport. Students would feel exhausted with all the options of sports which LPU offers. It has Asia's largest indoor stadium with 2 swimming pools. In short, LPU has one of the best campuses.

I have opted for 5 seater Ac room which cost me around 65000 per. Academic year. In this, we have provided 24/7 security, wifi coverage, water supply, electricity supply, bed, Study table, almirah locker and a common bathroom in each room. And in case of any problem, only one complaint is needed. And Mess the food offered is above average. You can choose 2 days, 3 days or 4-day meal and not just this you can choose the type of food like Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Punjabi and a lot more to go. The process to opt for the hostel is very simple. You can book it online and it is easy just choose what you need and do. And after that, they will give you hostel details. The hostel is available, there are enough rooms free available. And I love the hostel life and what LPU offer is best.
