Remarks

LPU provide immense oppurtunity Its avg package is 4.4 lakh per annum FEES is affordable VERY nice campus HIGH Maintained infrastructured Let me mention you one imp thing only CSE branch of this college is good and if u want to excell or want to get very good package like 30 lpa then yr coding skilss must be very good ...and to improve your coding skills you hve to pay time to coding other thsn your college study ....so one thing about this college is u will get good amount of time to focus on coding

IN lpu as I already said that onlu computer science engeneering is good which provide you yhe average package of 4.4 lpa AND I a m also interseted in coding and computer science subject so I choose this branch Apart from this faculty members are also good educated mode of comunication is english IF you pay focus on yourself only then there is a high scope of personal developement Exams level are easy ...one can pass it very easily if he pay attention to classes only and youtube is always there for you so you dont neend to worry about your exams!!

yes universities will provied intership oppurtuinities and pre placements offer but not so early they will provide you at the end of 5th sem and to have a good placement you have to to online internship by your self only

For campus placements students are eligible from 6th , 7th semester see in mass recruters there are - cognizant ,tcs , wipro , ibm , tech mahindra , capegemini ,meditab and many more which will provide you the package around 2 - 4.4 lpa top recruters dream companies are- Amazon , informatica corp, microsoft , automation anywhere but to be honest there are 4000 students in lpu in cse branch and only 100 stundents out 4000 are able to crack these dream companies

Fees and Financial Aid

so lets talk about the fees policy - so LPU provide you some scholarship on the basis of your class 12 marks / class 10 marks / entrance exam LPUNEST on the basis of class 12 marks / class 10 marks / lpunest you will get schollarship like 40 % ,30%,25% it totally depends on your score in the above mentioned exams maximum scholarship = 40 % So have to pay only 57 k per semester but if we see the fees without scholarship it is I lakh per semester I m a first year guy didnt get a job yet!!!

To be very honest with you till now i havent seen my camous yet due to covid But befire joining th eLPU , I had watched many many youtube vlogs on LPU VLOgs on hostel , vlogs on mess , vlogs on campus life DAY before exam vlogs SO i was like OMG ... this is a huge campus I was so excited BUt this covid came and ruined every thing BUT i hv heard from my seniors that campus life at lpu is very very amazing GYM facilty , so many sports facility UNI mall SO many cafes so many food stalls CULTURAL fest so many things coke studio and may more fests

FOR Hostel there are many types of accomodation available two types of hostel 1. standar rooms(non ac, air cooled) 4/3/2/1 seater with their respective prices 2.AC rooms 4/3/2/1 seater with their prices recpectively to know the full detail contact LPU helpline no they will provied the full details of hostel

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Dislikes

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
