Remarks

The college is best in the perspective of infrastructure, faculty and the way it follows the discipline. As you can check the mindblowing infrastructure yourself on the social sites that make the giant companies get attracted to the campus. The mind-blowing students getting past every year and getting appointed in MNCs is awesome. Every year more than 500 companies are visiting the campus and are really appreciating the candidates. The practical lab being provided by the university is also awesome. The students won't get leisure time when they won't be learning something. Every day, there are many webinars and projects the students are involved in.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is awesome at this university. The course makes a student technically educate. The students learn many programming languages. The faculty teaches awesome and the students can ask questions as many times as they want to. The exams are not too hard nor easy. If the student is conceptual then they can easily score good marks. The exam-taking way is also good there.

Course Fees: INR 147000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college gives students a great opportunity to avail internships in the companies. The companies are also searching for good students here and are getting so the students are being placed with an awesome package every year. They are also getting a good stipend in their internship.

Placement Experience

Many giant companies like Microsoft, TCS, Cognizant visit every year recruiting a lot of students on basis of their merit and they are taken with a good package. The average package the companies are offering is 5-6 lakh per annum. The students start getting recruited from the 5th semester and the job gets finale in the 4th year. If you study and keep CGPA more than or equal to 85 percent then you can get placed in a nice company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees for computer science and engineering are 196000 per year for northeastern students and 216000 per year for foreign students. The students can get merit-based scholarships from the university by their board exam marks in class 10 and class 12 or they can give LPUNEST exam.

Campus Life

The webinars on the campus and the fests every year are awesome. The bands coming to the university are awesome. Every day the social clubs perform some extracurricular activities in which the students can participate.

Interview Experience

There were no interview questions but an exam lpunest. The exam is based on the class 12 syllabus. The test is based on physics, chemistry and mathematics. physics and chemistry together having 50 percent marks and mathematics alone 50 percentage. The students will get half time for physics and chemistry together and the other half time for a mathematics exam. The students will be given a lpunest exam book which will make them easily prepare for the exam. The questions are conceptual and totally MCQ based. You can skip this test and avail 50 percent of the scholarship if you are having 90 percent or more on your boards.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
