Remarks

The infrastructure of our college is very good. The management system is also very good. During the Covid pandemic, it provided education to us very seamlessly. LPU also provides an ample amount of opportunities in co-curriculum activities. The placement opportunities provided by this college is insane. There are around 600 companies which come to our college every year and provide a handsome salary to students. And, LPU has huge diversity from all over the world. Here, teachers are so friendly and well qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen this course i.e BTech CSE because I am very much interested in coding and programming. Coming to the faculty-student ratio, there are enough teachers to teach is seamless. Each batch consists of 60-70 students. Facilities here are very highly qualified and their teaching method is also very good and easy. There are Class assessments held every month. Around three CAs are held for each subject and one midterm and one end term. There is ample amount of gap is given to study best.

Placement Experience

4

Campus placement of Lovely Professional University is very very good. More than 600 companies come to the university for campus placements. 600 companies coming to a private college is a great number for sure. In these 600 companies, every top company to mass recruiters come like amazon, TCS, Wipro, cognizant and many many more. The highest packaged offerent is 47 lakhs by Microsoft. A student named Tanya Arora grabbed that package from Lovely Professional University. And the average package for evry course is different. Like for example, BTech cse has an average package of 4-5 lakhs. And I think students become eligible from 3 rd year onwards for campus placements. But for becoming eligible for placements you must have 75% attendance and must clear your backlogs. And for becoming eligible for good companies you should score a decent cgpa like 6-7 cgpa minimum for a handsome salary. If you have a decent cgpa & no backlogs, then you will get a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Coming to the fees structure, at my time in 2020 the fees were 98000 per semester for BTech CSE. And I had got a 30% scholarship in lpu nest. So the fees per semester for me is very less around 68k. Comparing to other private colleges, the fee structure here is very less than others. Also, they give ample amount of scholarship to each student, around every student gets some scholarship. And there r also not many hidden charges in my college. One hidden charge I faced till now is only 2500 each semester which is examination fees. So The fees structure here is very affordable for each student. Now coming to the job opportunities, I am not placed or appeared in any placement exam as I am in 1st year, but I watched many of my seniors be placed in good companies. So I am pretty sure, that the placement opportunities here are so good. And also some students are getting opportunities for a paid internship through campus selection. So it is also a great thing at my university.

Campus Life

5

LPU has a huge campus which constitutes around 30000 students from different part of places. There is so much diversity is present in our college not only from India but from foreign too. Many students from foreign like Nepal Africa etc students come to our college to study and explore. The campus size is more than 600 acres which is like a city constituting only students. Moreover, LPU Is called a UNIVER-CITY. So you can guess how big this college is. Everything from the gym to restaurants is available on the university campus itself. Moreover, there is a unimall also present in our college which is great great great. Lpu library is the largest library in northern India. Now coming to the clubs and societies, so any student in the campus can make their own clubs or organisations. At present, there are more than 1000 organisations are working. All the events from calling actress to celebrating festivals were organised by the organisations or can say, students.

Interview Experience

5

The admission process for my university is very simple. You just have to give an entrance examination and score the cutoff marks. The entrance examination is named LPUNEST. You can fill-up the form at LPU own website. The cost of the form is also not very high. It is very pocket friendly. And you can also get direct admission based on jee mains or 12 the boards percentage. If you will get more than 90 percentile in jee or more than 90% in 12th boards, then you will get direct admission in our university with maximum scholarship too. And there were no group discussions or entrance interviews. And coming to the LPUNEST pattern, it is a multiple-choice examination given 1:30 hour and subjects will be depending on your course like I have physics, chemistry, and maths in my LPUNEST examination for BTech CSE entrance. The paper was very easy though. So you need not worry about the entrance examination. The questions will be based on your 12th course.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
