Remarks

There are many good things about LPU such as education, placements, infrastructure everything is up to the mark. The faculty and mentors are very friendly to doubts, problems. Faculty provides all the material which will help us to practice and hold a grip on the subject. And University has all the facilities for the students like library, gym, etc. And University has its own Uni mall, uni hotel, Uni hospital. If a hostler suffer any health issue ambulance will come to the hostel and gives treatment to the students free of cost. There are many good things about LPU. But one thing I think bad aspect is of strength of the students. Admission process is based on LPUNEST and JEE Mains.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As computer science have very good scope in the present situation. And I was also interested in that course. The faculty members are very well experienced and skilled. All the faculty in LPU are PhD. Graduates in their specified area. Teaching method is very good up to me. I am satisfied alot with the faculty. And each term will be of 5 month duration. And 3 and half month will be teaching days and the remaining days will include all the exams and assignments. And the difficulty level will be of medium level. We can easily pass the exams if we concentrate on studies

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are many internship that college provides. Cognizant is one of the company which recruits many of the students. As I'm a 1st year student I don't know much about the types of projects. Projects depends on students interest and their specialization.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in Lpu are pretty good. Placements starts from the 3rd year itself. All the companies which recruit from IITs and NITs also visits LPU and places students. LPU provides vast opportunities to the students. And as we know placements depends on students performance.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure depends on the course. And as we come to computer science the fee structure is 98000 per semester. And University provides scholarships on the basis of LPUNEST entrance exam. I was qualified in that exam in category 1. I too got max. scholarship. And there are different types other than this.

Campus Life

5

University conducts many fests and curricular activities after college hours. I don't actually remember the names of fest but all the fest will be of fully fun. We can enjoy a lot. I can say that these fest are one of the best part of university

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities depends on students taste. There are different types of hostels like AC, Non AC. And hostels are of three types dormitory, Standard rooms, Appartment types. And the facilities depends on the selection of hostel types. Dormitory hostels has 8 to 16 students accommodation in a room. And standard has 3 or 4 per room. Appartment has 3 or 2 or 1 as per choice.

Interview Experience

5

No there were no such type of interviews for the admission process. The process of admission depends on the LPUNEST and JEE MAINS. For admission into our university one should qualify LPUNEST or should get percentile more than 92. Other than this one cannot get admission other than this. Should qualify the test for sure for admission into university.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
