No placements

I got into Nizam college in 2017. I selected BSC maths, electronics and computer science as my major subjects. I was planning for a government job. That made me choose 3 year degree course in nizam college rather than 4 year BTech course. College is filled with greenery. Classes are spacious. We have good ground as well. There is a hostel for boys from 2nd year. A new hostel for girls is been under construction. They care about attendance sometimes and they don't care sometimes. It depends on the principal. The principal is changed every 2 years. So people who are willing to prepare for any other courses will get benefit out of it. The subjects and content are good but what we understand depends on the teacher. If u are a self learner, that would be great. Maths faculty are so good here. Remaining courses am not much sure about. You get plenty of time to improve your skills. Unnecessary assignments, homework and time wasting records are not supported here.

I chose maths, electronics and computer science because this is a good combination so that I can improve my math and computer knowledge. There would be a 1:30 student faculty ratio. Almost all teachers have doctorates and good in their qualification. But when it comes to teaching, they may have good stuff but not all can reflect it on students. We have 2 semesters and internals. But from last year they are giving assignments too.

No internships for BSc students. You may have good opportunities if u join in BA or something. As far as my knowledge none of my friends got any internships or anything. Projects are done by students in their final year at every college.

Placements are so less in nizam college and they are not good companies. I don't know about other departments. But in BSC u get almost no placements. If u get also, they are not worthy. Don't expect any placements

Fees are so considerable. Moreover, we get ts epass scholarship for all students except the general category. The amount would be around 15000. We get 4500 to 5000 as scholarship at the end of each year from ts government. The toppers of the whole college get 5000 per year.

Every year college day will be on the last working day probably in April last week. The books and library are so good. U get all your academic books in the nizam library. Sports are so much support here. There are many national and state level players in nizam college in many categories. Student clubs are plenty. OYSTER is one of them. They perform many extracurricular activities. Moreover, there are ABVP, SFI and all to support students.

There is a hostel for boys from the second year. Ragging is common in nizam college but it's diminishing day by day. Actually, it's fun more than offensive. The number of students in a room depends on the space. There May 8-15 members in a single room. There may be 5 members in a room. It depends. Moreover, there are no beds in many of the rooms. Most students sleep down on the floor. There are government hostels outside the college for which we get scholarship ts epass to stay there for free. Almost many students stay in government hostels like bc hostels and sc hostels. There are reddy hostels too but u won't get any scholarship from the government for it. U need to pay 3500 per month to stay there.
