Remarks

I chose this college because I'm a student of commerce background and I always wanted to peruse b.com honors. I chose this college because it is one of the good colleges of Calcutta university. the merits of the college are as follows: 1. The Teachers here are really very helpful and support us in everything we do. 2. Attendance requirements are not so strict so that we can follow our interests. 3. The annual fest, Umang grabs the attention of everyone. 4. The college has many different societies, sales, clubs that give us exposure to the outside world. The demerits of the college are as follows: 1. The infrastructure is not so good. 2. There is a percentage-wise division of the section which creates an environment of demotion among the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I wanted to do b.com Hons from the very Start. I have a deep fascination for it. The education provided by the teacher is of high quality. The teacher is very intelligent and they don't hesitate in helping us and repeating things as many times as we want. The exams are conducted by the Calcutta university and there was no difficulty in giving the exams because we were well trained beforehand by the faculty so that we can pass every exam with ease. Also, the online exams were not very difficult and the experience was quite good.

Course Fees: INR 47500 per year

Placement Experience

The placement provided by bhawanipur education society college is quite high. The placement percentage is around 80%. The maximum salary is Rs 3 lakh per annum. Amd the minimum is 1.8 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is Rs. 47,500 per annum, which is quite affordable. There is a reduction of fees for the students of the reserved category. There are also many scholarships for the students who are unable to do it.

Campus Life

The college provides us with many opportunities to intern with different companies that help us in making additions to our CV. The different societies such as placement cell, the internship cell, women development cell give us many opportunities. The annual fest of our college that us umang proves to be a success because of various Bollywood stars.

Likes

Teachers behaviour and their way of teaching
Classrooms are well maintained with air conditioned
Canteen foods are really good tastes and at average price

Dislikes

College union and few seniors are there..
Office staff they are a bit casual approach
There are many books in the library but year wise books takes time to set on the library

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for placement from The 7 semister or the 8th one.. Many msme complanies are linked to this college. Flipkart are one of the best company who hired new recruits from this college. I visited Ardent Computer Msme companies... As an Internship And it's one of the most outstanding company A standard percentage will help you to carry on.. My plan is to give the CAT exam and pursue for MBA

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

Getting admission was easy, I had to first make sure that I was able to fulfil the eligibility criteria of getting accepted in the college, once that was done, I had to fill the application form which is present in the college website.

Admission:

I want a cafe fill-up the application form and returned home after fifteen days. My college revelt a marit list and I am successful in this marit list , a date was fixed by my college for successfully candidate to addition. I went that day and admitted in the college.

My experience till now at Bhawanipur education society, Kolkata.

I chose this college above any other college because this is one of the best colleges of Calcutta university. And since, I'm pursuing CA course along with my BCOM Hons, the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient which will help me to focus on my CA course in a better way. The merits of this college are - 1) the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient 2) these teachers here are very helpful and supportive when it comes to doubt solving. 3) this college provides us with various co-curricular activities like sports and etc. 4) the campus placement opportunities are very high at this college.
