My Experience's in LPU

At Lovely Professional University, we have student free environment for both academic and non-academic aspects, with a world-class infrastructure expanded up to 600 acres of campus and good communication from lecture's and the campus is filled with all the facilitates where a graduating student will get and assure the amount of new things to learn and study very Good percentage in placements. The bad aspect is college is very far from our home town and LPU and very hard to settle with the things in the starting stage where all the things are new. The admission process is of two types one from LPUNEST and the second is we can apply with a 12th class merit Scholarship. LPU offers very good placements for all streams compared to another university with offering students a good amount of scholarships and it provides the experience to mingle with diverse people and improve our communication skills. I was from my 12th class interested in doing the Electrical side and enjoy working in Chip designs so, here I choose my path as ECE and our faculty-student ratio are very accomplishable as we are having 6 assistant professors for each subject head by HOD for each category for each section we are having ahead of the department and every section is assigned to a mentor. Every faculty in LPU is having a minimum qualification of PhD and we are provided with a Feedback form for each lecture delivered in class every day on the login page of our university. We are having one MTE (Mid Term Exam) in the middle of our semester it was not much difficult in exams as we are given the concepts discussed in the class and exams and we are having class assignments to overcome exam fear.

Yes, we should compulsorily do an internship in our 4th semester it is a mandatory subject. Some companies do offer a stipend for these internships too. I have done my intern with ECIL in Hyderabad in this we have designed an EVM and the software model of it from the Verilog codding in the Xilinx software.

We are able to sit for placements from our 6th semester on words if no backlogs. Capgemini and CTS are the most mass recruiting for LPU according to records in 2020 CTS and Capgemini has offered 700+ offer letters from different streams. The highest package is 42 lakhs per annum in Microsoft. Near to 92% are placed every year. I am trying to get placed in an MNC with a hand full of the package and a user-friendly environment.

No hike for the fee it will be fixed at what we have told at the process of admission and hostel fee structure changes from year to year and it cost a total of 8 lakhs to completed my UG. Merit Scholarship LPU accept Loans from any bank and it also provides Sports and Defense scholarships for eligible students. We are offered on-campus part-time jobs for students with poor financial background we have to attendant a interview to get a part-time job.

We are having 2 annual fests in the name of One India and One World every one year here each stream in the university is given to represent a State or Country and have to showcase their culture and tradition and their beautiful locations. We are having a Central library of nearly three floors with more than 50000+ books and many more E-books followed by 2 more mini-libraries in different blocks of campus. Every year inter-college sports championship is conducted and many extracurricular actives are done by DSW(Division of Student Welfare). There are nearly +clubs and social groups I was a part of three of the groups which at 6 tier ranking give by the DSW.

Our room is a 4 seater with attached washroom and air cooler and we are provided with a rack and study table and iron bed. We can choose our room on the college site when the link is open by paying 1000 as a booking for the hostel. We are having the choice to opt for either north Indian or south Indian food in the mess by our choice and very decent food is being served. No, I have not stayed in any PG till the date.
