Remarks

I always wanted to take admission to Calcutta University because it's one of the best universities in India and then I saw this college and it is one of the best in Calcutta University and I am always interested in the commerce field. And they are one of the best in this field. The admission process of this college is very easy. You've to fill the form online and the fee's of the form is 750. Then they release the names of the candidates who are eligible for admission. Then you've to submit your documents and when they approve you have to pay the amount. I've checked about this college on the collegedunia website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to be a student of commerce field and for choosing B.Com above other courses because they give us better knowledge about Commerce. There are many sections in all the fields in our college and in B.Com Hons there is 3 batch which goes in one day. Batches are morning, afternoon and evening. The terms exam are not so hard, it was easy to pass as they were online and we were well prepared for that exam.

Course Fees: INR 47500 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The quality of placement is not quite good the percentage of students placed is somewhere around 60%. The highest salary package offered is 4 lakh per annum. The average salary of a is something around 2 lakh. The placement process is easy and the college was a bit supportive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee of this college is Rs 47,500 which is quite affordable for the students and the studies are quite good so it gets neglected. The total fee's for 3 years is 1,20,000. Many companies come for campus jobs and there are almost 80% chances of getting placement.

Campus Life

Umang is one of the biggest and best annual function that happens in Kolkata. Many big celebrities and Bollywood stars come to our annual fest. There is almost every game that is played in our college we have a basketball court. And many indoor games such as chess, carrom are played.

Canteen foods are really good tastes and at average price

Dislikes

College union and few seniors are there..
Office staff they are a bit casual approach
There are many books in the library but year wise books takes time to set on the library

Likes

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

College of this generation

Remarks:

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. In the coming years I hope the College will be able to keep up its expectation. “Knowledge is power, knowledge is strength

My experience till now at Bhawanipur education society, Kolkata.

I chose this college above any other college because this is one of the best colleges of Calcutta university. And since, I'm pursuing CA course along with my BCOM Hons, the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient which will help me to focus on my CA course in a better way. The merits of this college are - 1) the attendance criteria out here is quite lenient 2) these teachers here are very helpful and supportive when it comes to doubt solving. 3) this college provides us with various co-curricular activities like sports and etc. 4) the campus placement opportunities are very high at this college. The demerits of this college are - 1) this college doesn't provide us with the societies which in turn fails at providing us the exposure needed. 2) the merit-based section division is quite a turn-off as it creates a gap between the academically good students and the average ones....Read More
