Remarks

The college is best amongst other colleges i had studied or heard about. There is friendly environment between students and professors. Also there is 75% of compulsory attendance.

Entrance Preview

I gave JEE exam and scored 60 marks. But i had good scores in 12th. I got admission through muslim minority quato. I choosed this college just because it is good college as well as its fees is also affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I wanted to go for machanical engineering but i secured admission in electronic engineering. All the faculties are good and helpful. Also the teaching is best. From the first year to the last year, all the professors are good and we need to perform practicals.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provides internship many companies come during third and fourth year with some good packages. They conducts some interview and based on that, they hire the student. But yet i didn't find many companies. The placements are less as compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yet i am in third year. So i don't know much about placement. But our seniors said that there are few companies which visited the college for placements but very few were hired. The college provides students with trial interviews so that at the time when we go through compies interview we would not face any issue.

College Events

4

Our college go through some fest. But it is more concerned with academics. We had fest in first as well as second year. But i didn't seen any technical fest yet. Even cultural fest have been held. Many students participated and fest were fun with friends.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are the best part of this college as it is affordable for engineering. The fees are in between 60k to 70k. For engineering course it is not much as compares to other colleges with at least has its fees above 1 lakh. Also for few backward cast. There is some discounts and for muslim minorities there is a scholarship Available.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are some scholarships Available at college. About 20k scholarship is provided to the student belonging to muslim minority quato. That will reduce the fees to around 40k to 50k. Which is a great in itself.

Campus Life

4

The college is basically a muslim college but you will find all religion people studying there. The only drawback is that the college does not have any playground or garden. The college has a workshop and i never seen any case of harassment yet. The surrounding is also silent. Overall it has best environment for studding.

Hostel Facilities

4

Personally i don't know about any hostel facilities provided through college. But once i have heard about it from my friend. As the college is located in bandra near carter road, the area to stay would also be expensive. The college has its canteen which provides a good quality food in affordable prices. It has both vegetarian as well as non-veg foods.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors have been helpful to us many times. Whey helped us through our mini projects and during some droughts. But we didn't had much droughts as we cleared them with our professors.

Exam Structure

All the practicals are held as sheduled and the college has all the instruments needed for practicals. The exams are also good. They provides a good amount of reading time. During my first and second year a very few practicals were canceled but there were some reasons behind it.

Faculty

4.5

According to me all the professors are the best. They always tried to explain us. They are more friendly, which is the Greatest side. Also whenever we had dought we can go personally to the professors and can solve it. Also they helps us whenever we need them. During the lectures whenever we had been too bored, some professors even told us some jokes, so that we all gets our interest back.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
