Remarks

Overall a very good college. Personally I do not have any bad remarks on the college.

Entrance Preview

I got 97.1% in 12th Public examination and had a very good Cut Off mark. Hence opted for MIT, Chennai.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was over all a very good course. Being IT jobs having more vacancy in current situation, I would prefer students to take the course. We also have a separate infrastructure for research. There are also good staffs who guide the research scholars in a good direction by involving themselves into the projects.

Internships Opportunities

I'm not sure about this. But as far as I know I have never seen any students going for internship. It would be there in the research area I guess.

Placement Experience

5

You will be getting lots and lots of opportunities in our college. Right from the biggie till the bulk companies everyone would recruit certain percentage of candidates. The only thing which students has to make sure is within 7th semester they must clear all the arrears if at all they have because some companies will not allow students with arrears to attend the test they conduct.

College Events

4.5

As far as cultural programs are considered, we celebrate MITFEST which is the biggest cultural program in our college which will have all kinds of event being conducted. We also celebrate HOMEFEST for the hostel students. With respect to Computer Science we conduct PRAYATNA every year which is a technical event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure - Since it is a government college for the regular batches each sem costs only around 12k and for the Self Supporting Courses it is around 24k. You would finish of the entire course within 1.5Laks at MAX which is the fee of each year in Private College.

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be many scholarships provided by the college specifically for the SC/MBC/BC candidates. College will also take necessary steps to bring in the notice of any scholarships provided by the GOVT/CENT GOVT.

Campus Life

4.5

Sports activities are also equally given preferences. But College doesn't have any good sport trainee. We could not say any bad note on the lab facility as they have a very good infrastructure since it is managed by the government there would not be any funding issues within the college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel Facilities are OK kind of environment. Since I am a day scholar I'm not sure about the food. But there would be veg and non veg mess very near to the college hostel. The quality of the food will be good but you will not have any variety food within the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior Junior relationship - A bond forever. Right from the beginning of the college days juniors will be taken care by the seniors.

Exam Structure

There would be three assessment exams conducted within each semester. It accounts for 50% of the marks and the remaining 50% will be calculated from the marks you score in the end semester. Out of the three assessment the best of two assessment marks will be considered.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty are ofcourse the best when it comes to computer Science. Except few partialities being shown on students other factors within faculty are really good. There are also faculties who take care of you in personal life as well by guiding the students in a right direction.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
