Remarks

IBS Mumbai is one of the best colleges in India. It is one of the topmost colleges after IIM's. The atmosphere, teachers are also very helpful and cooperative over here. They also give proper training program for the placement which helps the students to get placed in the topmost companies. People from various culture and background comes over there which helps the students to get to know each other very well.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course PGPM because it is one of the famous and it's on-trend currently. Faculties are very good over here. They are very kind and helpful which helps the students to improve their performance as well. Students from different countries, culture and background over there which helps the students to know each other and also helps to learn how to socialize very well.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, my college IBS Mumbai provides good SIP for the students. It starts to come from the month of October and it will go till Feb as few people still struggle to get placed. Even Corporate connect clubs help to bring a lot of internship opportunity for the students which helps the students to develop their interpersonal and communication skills as well.

Placement Experience

4

From the third semester itself, the companies start to come to college for the placement. Placement is amazing as a lot of good companies come especially for Marketing and Finance. IBS Mumbai is known for Marketing only. 96% of people get placed and the average CTC that they provide is 6.5 lakhs which is also quite good not that bad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite affordable for middle-class people. There are several scholarships for the students who perform really very well at the time of examination. The placement is really good over here. They also train students very well before the company comes for the placement on campus.

Campus Life

5

I have never gone to campus because of this pandemic. But have seen the infrastructure on the net and it's NIT that big but it's quite beautiful inside. The foods are very affordable all type of people can have their food over there. Can't explain much about the sports but yeah there are a lot of clubs on the IBS campus which includes Rotaract club, Corporate connect and there are numbers of clubs that I don't remember now. But yeah it's worth joining the club's as you will get to learn a lot of things.

Interview Experience

5

I would suggest my juniors that prepare the current topics for the GD round. Do not panic at the time of GD-PI. Very general and normal questions are asked at the time of the interview. GDPI happens only in IBS Hyderabad are different dates that will be scheduled mostly it starts at the end of Feb and you need to book the hotel in advance so that there should not be any hurry at the end. Also, be on time for the GDPI. You need to be there on campus from 3:00 AM as a lot of students will be reaching over there from all over India. Also, make sure to have one business formals while you go for the GDPI rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.
