Jadavpur University is one of best Universities of West Bengal and also of India. To get into M,C.A. in Jadavpur University you have to take the entrance exam called JECA and secure a rank less than 100.
Course Curriculum Overview
I came here to get a job. The faculty is very good and very student friendly. The exams are of moderate difficulties, if you study well be well prepared there is no fear of getting failed. Our course comes under the CSE department.
Internships Opportunities
Internship : After 1st year one can sit for internships in companies like Microsoft, Amazon etc. But the chances are a little low. One have to practice and perform from day 1 to get into these. The roles offered are SDE, Analyst etc.
Placement Experience
Mostly all of the students get placed. In my batch the highest package was 15 LPA lowest 3.2. Average is 4/5 LPA. The companies that visit the college - TCS, CTS, INFOSYS, CAPGIMINI, TATA DIGITAL, TEXAS INSTRUMENTATIONS, INTERRA, RUDDER STACK etc. From semester five the placement starts. 98%of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
While the private colleges takes 3-4 lakh for this course, Jadavpur University takes only 15-16 thousand the whole 3 years combined, and that too can be waved if you have financial difficulties, by applying for free ship ( A scholarship scheme of the university ].
Campus Life
The campus life . Ok let me take a moment and remember the incredible three years of my life. It was the best of best time I had. The campus is full of trees and green is every where, the green zone, the world view , the playground all are places of a lifetime. The Annual fest nights at OAT(open air theater] is something else. Can't describe them by words.
