Remarks

NSUT is one of the best engineering colleges Delhi. The college is also stands at a good rank by NIRF. The most important factor due to which I chose NSUT is its amazing placements with highest packages upto 1.25 crore. Also it has a very big and beautiful campus. The college has notable alumini and teachers. The admission to this college is done through JEE Mains.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course of ECE is one of the oldest courses of the college. ECE is also called as All-Rounder branch as it has scope in every field. The teaching faculty here is very good. Most of the teachers are Phd from IITs. Also, the method of teaching is very good and they explain everything nicely. The faculty is very supportive as well. The faculty to student ratiois 1:10.The term examination are held every month but they are not very difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

The placments here are very good. The range of package is from 7 LPA to 1.25cr. Top most companies in the world come here for recruitement including tech giants like google, amazon, sprinklr etc.

College Events

The campus life here is very cool and it has a stress free environment. Social life here is also very good. Students from different states come here to study. The classrooms are well mantained. the amenities are in good condition. Other than studies there are many extracurricular activities like sports. In this college almost every sports facility is available. The college has a huge infrastructure with a campus area of 145 acres. It has big sports grounds and a swimming pool. It has a gym too. Also there are many societies here such as Mirage(dance), Crescendo(music), Nakshatra(Space and astronomy) etc. Each society gives a good exposure to students and organises many competitions.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

The companies coming for internships are great
The experienced faculty who came from IIMs
The experienced clubs and their guidance

Dislikes

There is bit of mismanagement experienced,
There is last minute information available at the end moment
Disclarity in information throughout the whole semester

Placement Experience:

It is okay and it is based on luck of the student more than hardwork. You also have to network super well to get into good dream companies. It is a good place to get it out of luck through ATS sysytem.

Honest review of ddu

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Dislikes

The course is too much theory based and doesn't allow self learning of the students

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is excellent. With the average package being 1500000. Many companies like, BCG, McKinsey, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Credit Suisse come for placement. Almost all the students get placed. I plan to go for higher studies after the degree

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU....Read More

NSUT insiders

1. I applied to only 2 colleges DTU and NSUT. But I didn't choose dtu because of traveling issues, as it was 2 hours away from my house and nsut was just 15 mins away. 2. I didn't get a rejection from other colleges, but I myself choose not to there, as NSUT is a reputed college and government college for btech. It is one of the top college in delhi. 3. The admission process is through JAC delhi counseling in which NSUT DTU IGDTUW comes, and you can select your preference and you will be given tbe course with the college according to your rank scored in JEE MAINS....Read More
