Cause it has a good ranking in uptu chartboard list. The course is cheaper and better than other colleges, they provide good quality teachers and placements. The only bad thing about my college life is there is a very less or negligible cultural fest and college fests. They only focused on education and placement. Then the social exposure to the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
B. Tech in Computer science and engineering I think its the course of the best for my future cause of the economical and placement boom through this program is so high and I think it is the best course for me according to my knowledge of computers.There is 1:30 ratio of facality to student ratio in my 3 years of college but in 4th year due to placements programs the ratio is 1:10.Almost all the facilities are well trained and they have a good experience in the teaching and knowledge areasThe review of the teacher is done in the end of our sem classes by online site portal. But if you and your classmate feels that the facality is not up to mark of to the subject point of view then you can fill a form and get replacement of the new facality. We have setional every month bases and pre university test before the final exams. Each of the marks are calculated and added in the internal marks system of the college but the difficulty level is moderate so you can achieve good marks if you attend and take revision of the classes on daily bases.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I got internships though my college. You just have to be knowledgeable at the course which you have enrolled the college trys there hard to get you an internship at a good company before the placements. Same goes for the affiliated university.
Placement Experience
They have a decent palcement program for each it and cse and ECE students but I can't say for every stream. The companys they have campus drives are all well known in there respectable fealds. Don't take tension about the placement in this college. Be knowledgeable is you you have to be.
College Events
Life is the campus was good for the most of the parts but you can't bunk any class in first year. You have to be present in the class and can't go out untill the classes are over they have a visiting doctor in the campus, you can only go out at 5-7 and come at any time back. They have gamming room which consists of every indoor game and a nice ground for field games, they have t.t. basketball court, volleyball court, badminton courts etc. They have a common TV room for the student who want to watch sports or any type of commly selected program.
Fee Structure And Facilities
1st Year- 1,32,000.2nd Year- 1,05,700 + 7,500 examinations fees.3rd year - 1,04,700 + 7,500 examinations fees 4th year- 1,05,800 + 7,500 examinations fees.The scholarship are according to the social background of the students by the state government. You can get a decent job through the college in one of the well known it sectors companies from the campus.
Hostel Facilities
I think everyone should get into the college hostel for the first year at least. There are 2 types of hostel system in NIET in 1st Year Om hostel and flat hostel. Flat hostel are like 3 bhk flat with a store room type of room in those flats they have huge 3 room for 2 seaters and the one store room like room for 1 seater. There are 4 flat at every floor. In OM hostel it have 3 and 4 seaters living space for students the price may changes accordingly but they are very spacious. The meal plan is included in these hostel system. They have basic meal plans morning, afternoon, evening and night food they are different each day on Saturday and Sunday they do something spacial. The quality is moderate and the food is easly edible and with less spices.
Admission
No, cause I get selected through uptu yearly examination program by my state. But for the student who get selected by direct admission process they have given the PI round after they have got a decent score in the college provided test, the test was on basic to moderate to hard questions on the P. C. M. questions of class 11 and 12 then they take PI and ask which course they have in there mind. There is difficulty in getting CSE and IT departments in my time of admissions.
