Remarks

This college comes under private state university and the best part about the college is its placement record which is increasing every company. The bad thing about the college is that some of the blocks of college are not properly built and the teachers were not so much helpful. Admission process is quite simple, maximum of 1 week is required for total admission process in which it require only 2-3 visits to college for the whole process. I searched this college from shiksha.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosed Computer Science and Engineering field in this college as I am very much interested in programming part. Faculties are not so much supportive but overall is good and facility: student ratio is 1:40 in a class. Most of the teachers have done their post graduation and some of them are Ph.D holders also. Their teaching methods are just same as happened in any smart classroom type. Mid term and End term exam are happened in the month of May-June and Nov-Dec respectively. Achieving passing marks is not difficult in the term exams. It can be easily cleared on focusing and attending lectures only.

Internships Opportunities

Every student is required to opt for the internship of any course ceritification after our every end term year exam. But the internship and training we have to find ourself only. College provide only NOC (No-Objection certificate) for that.

Placement Experience

Placements of the college is good. From 7th semester onwards companies visit into the college of offering different designations with their respective eligibilty criterias. Highest package offered in around 7.5LPA and minimum is 2.4LPA. Overall all average package as per the visted company way between 4-5LPA. According to percentage of students getting placements is around 40%.

College Events

The annual fest happened every year in which different singers arrived and entertain us but the tech fest is only for a name. Almost all type of books are available in the library. Sports facility are only provided to those students who are in team otherwise no extra student is allowed on the field at any time. Extracurricular activities are mostly happened in the annual fest. Only 2-3 clubs are introduced to us in which one club organized whole annual fest and another group related to coding groups.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite expensive and there can be hike of 5-10k year wise. Scholarships are given to students including haryana domicile and other than to those who have scored more than 90% in their 12th board exams. I got campus placement from this college. Overall placement companied offered into our college were ranges from 3LPA to 8LPA.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel accommodation is quite expensive but in terms of facility wise it's ok. Food quality is good and mostly food provide to you is south indian dishes. Registration process for hostel is quite simple, one can easily apply for that from the university portal.

Admission

No I didn't face any group discussion, interview for the admission but yes I have given SRMJEE exam for admission in this college. Test pattern was similar as for the other college admission process. Common aptitude questions + Logic reasoning and problem solving questions were there.

Practical exposure and good learning opportunities.

Likes

Professors in my department are very knowledgeable and helpful.
College provide you the best experience in events and fest. You can participate to enhance your skills.
College have wide variety of clubs and societies to participate and groom yourself.

Dislikes

Fine culture is very bad. Many bouncers roam around to cut your fine for not wearing I'd card,etc.
Hostel food is ok ok. Although keeps on complaining they respond very slowly and not students oriented.
Hostel is not worthy, they didn't respond to students grievance properly, that's why I left hostel

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in B.Pharm are reasonable good but along side we students must focus on developing our own real world skills, the faculty help us to grow with industry ready skills. Good placement options are available in QA,QC, RnD, Pharmacovigilence department. According to me placement cell of KRMU is supportive but they unable to attract good placement packages. Avg package in B.Pharm is around 4-4.5L /year

My Overall Experience at college has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I feel pretty secure about my career because our training opens door that normal degrees just can't match. Our seniors land roles as risk analysts and foreign policy researchers, even secruing great spots at top think tanks right after graduation. Some even interned at Niiti Consulting, and others got into ShowTime Consulting and Stimuler. Seeing people land roles at Lead Tech and the BCG Graduate Apprenticeship Program gives me massive confidence for placements.

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Infrastructure of our college is too good,having proper ventilation system ,well equipped AC ,a hygienic environment having a lush green campus.it has proper wifi facilties in the campus. I would personaly rate it 4.5/5.
Here we get exposure to various growth opportunities like sports,studies and research.Even our college is open for students who plan to start their startup. our college provides specific amount help for students aspiring to run their own startup.
while talking about social interaction, our college has a good crowd and people are friendly so its easy to connect with them,all the faculties are expert in their domain having a good background and knowledge in their feild

Dislikes

CCTV's are not present in class which should be there for security purpose. only in the campus and corridors CCTV are present.It's kind of hard for students to get their medical certificate approved , they need a lot of formalities.
Mess food is not upto the mark, it should have been better thats why students have to go to canteen and food stalls to eat food and in campus girls to boys ratio is too less .less number of girls as compared to boys.
The library space is also very short ,it get's crowder and filled up during exam times so students have to go to other libraries present in the campus and it gets hard for student to study in summer's outside the library.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

JGU is delightful place!!

JGU Campus can match any international campus as it is that kind of a campus.
We have a sports stadium inside the university and nearly 20 sports facilities are included within.
Campus offers a splendid night life as well as students here can be seen roaming at the campus till 2 am as it is new normal here.

Dislikes

Most students here are not so serious about studies here as they are rich brats.
Intenrships we still have to find on our own as college doesn't provide from their end.

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

I was influenced by the pattern of syllabus done in this college and the seriousness of the faculty members. The curriculum prepares me a lot for competiting in the real world. Improvement is needed in the labs. The difficulty level of exams is mediocre and exams are taken twice an year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Say anything about this college but i will not suggest to take BCA in this college. In other hand all teachers are giving their 100 to taught students better in College. I think they have to use digital service to teach im doing BCA and they still teaching like am taught by a school classrom by a school teacher.

I chose this course because i have a keen interest in animals. I love to treat them. If you have interest in gaining knowledge about animals and you like to treat them, then this course is great. Apart from studies CCA activities also occurs here every Saturday. There is a gap of around 2 months between all the three internals then after 1 month gap external exams occurs

Not Perfect, But a Worth Campus It for the Right Student

The admission process at SRM Sonepat was smooth and simple. I applied online through the official website. You can get in either through the SRMJEEE entrance exam or through direct admission based on your 12th marks. SRMJEEE is the most preferred way, and students who score well often get good scholarships too (from 10% to 100% tuition fee waiver). I took direct admission since I didn’t take SRMJEEE. I applied for PIET and geeta university also other than SRM, in PIET I was having difficulty for daily transportation and also they don't allow bunks or getting out of college before college time, also there scholarship scheme was not that much good, where as in geeta university it was still under development of there labs and other facilities and also the campus was not that large, it also carried the problem of transportation, as my older brother is also a passout from SRM University, it was easy for me to get transportation facilities from my door, and also I cleared scholarship exam that gave me 50% scholarship and now our university is the only university with NAAC A+ credit. Also the admission department was nice than PIET. For scholarship criteria there are several options like 10th and 12th grades , JEE score , JEEE ( college based entrance exam) which are good way of getting scholarship. the JEEE cutoffs are based on marks in early stages, and later based on ranks as it is conducted 5-7 times during the admission time....Read More
