As the college is in the capital of the state someone can get more exposure and gain outer world knowledge. One more advantage of this college is you are going to be a part of separate curriculum called CDAC.
Curriculum is up to the mark containing the latest technology like big data, python and ITSM. Major part of this curriculum is covered by CDAC which is central government organization to provide latest technology and knowledge. All the faculties are experts in their respective fields
Yes. I have opted for internship in NALCO. I worked there as a product executive which is a techo functional role. The internship was unpaid but the experience you will get is completely real world scenario based.
Generally from 7th semester students will get chance to sit on interviews but sometimes you can be lucky to get chance from 6th semester also. But the training and placement cell work so hard and arrange professional training for the students so that all students will be having atleast one job in hand.
Campus is filled with greenery. The best view of campus can be seen during the winter. Sports club, technical club and music club are the addons. You can be a pro in each club and showcase your talents during the annual sports meet and techo cultural event.
Though the fee structure is little bit high but with that you can avail the courses and certification provided by CDAC for free, which is so costly outside the college. You can also avail the study loan and scholarships provided for certain category.
Hostel inside the campus so you will be getting plenty of time to spend in library and accommodations are also good in terms of food and safety. During the admission you can also opt for hostel accommodation.
7th semester you are eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, wipro, abobe and many more visited the campus with the highest 39lakh CTC and lowest 2.5CTC, and average 5 to 6 lakhs. In cse branch, there is 100% placement and in core branches, 90 - 80 % of students get placed. My plan is to work for the company grab experience and then crack the Gate exam with a good score.
The placement is also not so good. Not fan-like company arrives in this university. The average package is 4-8 lacs and the highest was 28 lacs which a single student got. Additionally, this university focuses on placement more than skills and anything. Sometimes teachers of the programming department won't give an answer and deny just by telling I'm not spoonfeeding you guys
