Lovely Professional University is India's largest private university. It offers world-class facilities with quality education. LPU has more than 50 countries students. It is very popular in neighboring countries. It has a very big campus of 800 acres. Admission criteria are very simple and easy. Admission starts in March and ends in July.
Course Curriculum Overview
Currently, I am doing a diploma in computer science and engineering but when I got admission I got admission in Mechanical engineering but due to lack of interest I have changed my course from Mechanical Engineering to Computer science and engineering. The computer science Department is the most beneficial course in LPU. Each class has 35 to 40 students. The teachers are really very much good. Term exams are not too hard and not much easy.
Placement Experience
Lovely Professional University has a good placement record. Here almost every big companies of the world visit here for placement drive like Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, cognizant, SAP, Cisco, intel, TCS, Tech Mahindra HDFC, Delhivery, etc. Till now Highest package offered is 42 Lacks by Microsoft to CSE students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is somewhat high in LPU. But they are providing very good facilities and quality services. The fee for the diploma is 38k per semester and 2.5k per semester for the examination charges. College is also providing scholarships .one can easily get up to 30 % scholarship through LPUNEST exam. I got a 40% scholarship. The fee for a change of program up to the 2nd semester is 5k. I have paid 5k for changing my program from Mechanical to CSE.
Campus Life
There are many annual fest and tech fest conducted here every month. Like One World , YouthVibe, One India , etc . Here, National Science Congress also held once in 2019 in which PM Modi was the chief guest. LPU has a very big Central Library. Classrooms are fully furnished and Air-conditioned. Each class has a big Screen for explanation.
