Remarks

As the college is under MHRD so admission process is through counselling in JOSSA and CSAB. Our college is under the mentorship of NIT Hamirpur that's why I choose this college over others. The student to teacher ratio is very good in this college and the teacher communicates well with every student.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

As I have an IT branch and from the first semester we were involved in coding and the teachers are supportive as well. The faculty to student ratio is good as there are limited seats in each branch. All the faculties are highly qualified PhDs from various IIT'S and foreign institutes. Exams are too pressured there. The college takes 3 exams each semester.

Internships Opportunities

2

Our college offers internships to limited companies but our seniors are so good at academics. One of my senior got an internship in G-Shock stipend at 1 lakhs per month for 12 weeks. Internships provide by the college is not up to the mark.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are good in the college. As there are not so many students in a particular branch so almost every student of our college who is eligible for placements get placed. The average placements for CS and IT student are 5-8 LPA. The highest on-campus placement - 14 LPA. The highest off-campus placement 60+ LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the complete course is approx 8- 10 lakhs including all the fees and charges. The hostel fees are 15000-20000 per semester. The scholarship is given to SC/ST students. Students should apply for their various state government scholarships to get fee assistance.

Campus Life

2.5

As the new and permanent campus is on construction and should be completed by 31 December 2021 and the new campus has all equipped facilities. Sports, library, extracurricular activities all are there and I am also excited to see our new college. Many clubs are running in our college like AVESH, FORCE, etc which are run by students.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.
