Remarks

Teaching Discipline in everything. Bad exactly not bad, but they can do better in TV room, gym and Wi-Fi kind of facilities for hostel students.

Entrance Preview

I didn't took any particular entrance examination other then my Higher Secondary School examination. I had around 87% in HSC. I opted for this college, during my time of joining college already had 20+ years of experience. Also I got a good feedback from my relatives.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was normal for non-department paper (Subject's from non-major) and good for the department papers (Subject's from major). Apart from course, they conducted the JAVA, VB, Aptitude and few interpersonal skill development programs for developing a knowledge. NSS and NCC were awesome during my batch. They executed plans very well and I really enjoyed to the core.

Placement Experience

3.5

Always placement is not in college hands. It also depends upon the how the trend is. But I my batch around 300+ people got placed. Also from college side they tried their level best and got TCS, HCL and other few companies for on campus interview.

College Events

4

Each and every year all department will conduct their symposium. Invitation will be sent across all the near by college's and internal as well. I think almost the auditorium will full for all the events. Technically they engaged few program companies to improve student's skill. Jade is the company name which I remember and other's I didn't. For celebrating 25 years in academic line in our college they conducted a huge function I was really awesome. Apart from technical, cultural, management festivals in my college there is option to take medical treatment in our nursing college for lesser cost when compared to outside hospital.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was similar to government defined. No change. Apart from course or Semester fee they collected fee only for placement training. I think it was quite affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

All my friends got a scholarship according government norms. For applying loan college provided the fee structure and attested on the mark sheets when it is required.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio was there but up to the limit there was huge indoor stadium in my college ground where they allowed to play chess, Badminton and boxing. In outdoor stadium they allowed to play volley ball, Cricket and football. Labs was always good. During the year 2010 we have a internal project competition where it brought lot of deserved students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel food is always good, not only food after night dinner they will issue the fruits too that was very good initiative. If we come to hostel facilities gym was okay and there was a TV room where we had only one TV for whole boys hostel I think there they can improve.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network was not that great but most/ staff's who are in the college are in touch with their alumni's.

Exam Structure

We will have monthly exam other than the university schedule. That provided an opportunity to learn at-least something from each and every chapter. So we didn't struggle too much just before the day for university exams. Lab facility was good, as I am a student from CSE don't think I am saying only about CS labs other lab was also good.

Faculty

4

I will not say all the faculty were at their best but they tried their best to educate the students. Support from the faculties for completing our projects were phenomenal.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Sri Jothi Higher Secondary School, Vethathri Maharishi Higher Secondary School, Sengunthar Higher Secondary School, etc. are the companies that visited and got placements at these schools. Nearly 50% of students get placements. Some students are going for higher studies. My plan is to get pass in tet and get a Job in a government school teacher

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to B.Ed because I have a major interest in teaching and I did it in Social Studies. The faculty in the college is amazing and supportive guiding students in every situation. Although I did distance learning I still managed to make bonds with my faculties and they helped me out whenever I needed them. There is a total of 45 students in one class. All of them are connected through WhatsApp groups mainly. Exams are held semester wise and each semester was for six months. Students were informed about the examinations through calls from the Professors. Exams were of moderate level and easier to gain good score.
