Remarks

This college is pretty decent compared to other B Schools in Hyderabad. The admission process is pretty decent. Students have to appear for a GD/PI after which they are selected based on the combined score of entrance tests and performance in GD/PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is as per the AICTE guidelines. Exams are conducted on a semester basis and since relative grading is followed in most B schools, and mostly in a batch of 1100 odd people getting a good grade is difficult. You need to be thorough in all the subjects.

Course Fees: INR 14 per year

Internships Opportunities

You will get the chance to sit for the companies coming on campus for internships. However, you can arrange the internships on your own. You just need to full fill the eligibility criteria and then you will be called for further rounds.

Placement Experience

Placement is quite decent with an average package ranging from 5-7 lakhs. The majority of the companies that visit the campus mostly offer jobs in the sales and marketing domain. Only a few companies offer jobs in the Core Finance domain.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is well organized and every student has to pay a semester fee of 2.64 lakhs. Financial assistance is there for the students who have secured very good grades in Semesters. If there is a hike in fees, that you will be informed beforehand.

Campus Life

Campus life is totally amazing under the bestowal of lush green fields. Students get the chance to become a member of various clubs and take part in various inter college events going on throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

I opted for hostels but due to the ongoing pandemic, we are unable to attend the classes from Campus. But if the college opens after the second wave, we will get the chance to enjoy our hostel life. But for the upcoming batch, chances are high that the college will open.

Interview Experience

Yes, there is a GD/PI process for selection. And you have to report to the campus to complete the initial documentation. After that, the GD/PI process will be conducted as per the slots given. I prepared from the daily newspapers and worked on my strengths.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies visited my campus are 1.naukri 2.berkedia 3.tcs And other 20% of students got placed. They got nice packages as well

Like most of the companies come. It is on students how they perform all the infrastructure and all the learning resources and all the experience which is required to the student is provided here like Library is open till two, you can go and hustle there and and learn new skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think MBA was good structure in the market. But if the students was completing MBA through this college was not worth in the market. Because they can't teach according to the latest technology. In the interviews also they are asking the latest technological questions which was not find in my MBA.

Remarks:

There are so such negative remarks about the college. It can be very strict about attendance sometimes, but it won't be an issue with proper medical bills. The college, otherwise, provides with every facility and is concerned about the betterment of every student.

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. IBS has the reputation of one of the best B-Schools in the country, offering innovative and globally accepted programs and great opportunities for all-round development. I heard this from my college , who was a alumni of this institute and convinced me to pursue my Masters from there. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website (www.ibshyderabad.org) followed by online application fee payment around 1000.
