Remarks

The college's overall culture system and environment is great. If you wanna grow yourself to the fullest tryt o hope into this college. The environment and teaching is great over here. The college has one of its own entrepreneurship cells, which indeed is a very useful tool to grow someone's overall potential. The admission process is simple, go for lpunest, if you get a good grade it in and If you fall under some criteria according to the subjects/courses you wanna opt, you will get it easily. The part about the college is the fees is very less for engineering degree as compared to other colleges. Yes, there are some fawls in the college's ecosystem, but apart from that the is college is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had a great interest in machines and power systems, vehicles. Most of the facilities here are either from iiits, nits or IITs mostly, but some of them are from many other reptutated foreign Universities, as well many faculties here are industry experts as well. The exams are held as follows: 1. CA's ( class assisment ) - 3 or 4 depending upon the subject. (Holds upto 25% of your overall tgpa). 2. Mid sems - holds upto 25 to 30% to 40% of your tgpa. 3. End sems - holds upto 40 to 45 to 50% of your tgpa. The exams are easy to pass, the only thing is you have understand the basic and overall concepts of the subject to get a good grade.

Placement Experience

3.5

The campus placements are fine. The only thing buggy here is that international students don't get a placement offer. Else, the placements is actually good, companies like Microsoft, cognizant, Infosys, ashok Leyland, tcs, etc also recruit students from here.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the latest fees structure the fees cost about 1lakh to 1.5lakhs mostly for all the engineering streams. But, the college gives scholarships according to the performance in LPUNEST, JEE MAINS, BOARDS marks and some other states and national level entrance exams as well. The scholarship is upto 50 or 60 %, but will totally depend upon your performance in the above-listed exams. The campus placements are quite fine, by the end of your 3rd year (for engineering) you may start seeing companies reaching upto you for internships and placements.

Campus Life

4

To be particular, there are lots of events and fest conducted here like one world, youth vibe, etc. The campus life is good, the infrastructure is great, infact the college has its own mall int the campus, with Domino's and others as well. The only thing is the whole campus is vegetarian, so no chicken, eggs, and meats are allowed, but you have a food plaza at the end region of the campus, where you can eat your desired non-vegetarian items and foods. This food plaza( forgot the name, haven't gone to the college for last 1 year, due to covid ), was recently made around 2019. Also, you can go outside the campus, to have your favorite vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian meals as well. Their are alot of clubs over here, from sports, to music to dancing to painting, you have everything over here. For more info check out the website.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Okay, the hostel rooms are not that quite good, but it's fine, it has attached washroom + bath for both boys and girls hostel. The fees vary on the option you have choosen fir the room. The rooms here ranges from 1 bed to 5 beds and then common rooms ( accomodating people from 8 to 16 or more ). The charges starts from a lakh for a single bed with AC and maybe a 10less for a non-ac. The ranges vary like this only, the AC rooms have on an average price of 10k more than non-ac ( cooler ) rooms. The best about the hostel is the mess, mess is actually great and the food is actually good, considering a healthy and fit diet, the diet here for the mess is recommended by health experts.

Interview Experience

4

There are particularly no interviews or GD for admission, but you may be asked to take the lpunest and may be interviewed when you come to the college campus for your documents check. The basic documents required for the admission are your TC, REPORT CARD/MARKS SHEET and some other kinds of stuff, you can check their website out for this.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
