Remarks

For exposure and placements. It had a good infrastructure and good teachers. Overall it seemed a good opportunity. We had to go to the main campus in Hyderabad for admission. First, there was their entrance exam ibsat clearing which we had to give GD and PI. I went through various websites before selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have done my BBA and to expand my knowledge and for better opportunities, I planned to do my MBA. Faculty student ratio would be 1:100. The faculties are highly qualified. They use a case study methodology for teaching. Term exams were every 4 months and it was pretty challenging.

Course Fees: INR 1400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college does provide internship opportunities. The internship is a part of our curriculum and so is compulsory. Many companies come for internship. There are various roles offered in finance, human resources and marketing.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd semester, the placement starts. Many companies come for placement. ITC, JP Morgan, Capgemini, Wipro and other such companies come for placement. The highest package was around 50 lakh. The average package would be around 6 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The per semester fees is 264,000. Students who perform extremely well are given scholarships. Financial assistance is also available. Various banks readily provide loans to students. There are also jobs available on the campus for which you will be paid.

Campus Life

I have no knowledge about campus life as I have been doing my MBA online. The annual fest is called Trishna and it is huge. The annual fest is conducted in January. For sports and extracurricular activities there are various clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Again I don't have much knowledge as I have never been to the hostel. I heard the food over it is not very bad. Rooms are available with and without sharing. There is also a committee that looks over the menu and food.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Interview Experience

First, we had an entrance exam which is known as IBSAT. Clearing that we had to go through GD and PI. GD topic was given on the spot. In the PI they asked questions regarding current news. To prepare for the entrance I went through the current affairs.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies visited my campus are 1.naukri 2.berkedia 3.tcs And other 20% of students got placed. They got nice packages as well

Like most of the companies come. It is on students how they perform all the infrastructure and all the learning resources and all the experience which is required to the student is provided here like Library is open till two, you can go and hustle there and and learn new skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think MBA was good structure in the market. But if the students was completing MBA through this college was not worth in the market. Because they can't teach according to the latest technology. In the interviews also they are asking the latest technological questions which was not find in my MBA.

Remarks:

There are so such negative remarks about the college. It can be very strict about attendance sometimes, but it won't be an issue with proper medical bills. The college, otherwise, provides with every facility and is concerned about the betterment of every student.

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. IBS has the reputation of one of the best B-Schools in the country, offering innovative and globally accepted programs and great opportunities for all-round development. I heard this from my college , who was a alumni of this institute and convinced me to pursue my Masters from there. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website (www.ibshyderabad.org) followed by online application fee payment around 1000.
