Remarks

Few points I'm telling to make sure you do not have any misconception about LPU 1. Faculty : Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM, or from elite organizations. They have a decade of experience and the faculty is really helping. 2. Standard of students : They didn't compromise on the quality of the students. They have a rigorous admission process. Admission can be taken if you have a good percentile in the entrance exam(LPUNEST) and in your boards. 3. Fees : The fees are different based on which courses you've chosen but I can say the course fees are comparatively low than other private institutions thanks to the scholarships that lpu provide. 4. Exposure and Infrastructure : One of the main reason why lpu is well known among the world because of its world-class Infrastructure and Exposure to the industry 5. Placement : The most important reason for what lpu is best is its Placements. Lpu brings various multinational companies on the campus, you just have to crack one

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen B.Tech CSE because of the career choices and the future opportunities...if you have interest in coding or programming or development then you should go for it As the majority numbers of student are from CSE so lpu have a good number of well-qualified faculty for us Talking about the qualification majority of the faculty comes from IIT, IIIT, NIT or equivalent elite institutions. Besides that, they are very very helpful and they will teach you with great care and enthusiasm See, about exams I would say exams aren't hard if you study adequately...I'm not saying you have to study day and night...the lectures the professors are giving just listen to them seriously and make notes out of them and you are ready for the exams

Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many of us get internships from our college at a very good striped...the highest one yet is 80k for 6 months..various companies get here to give us internships and if you match their criteria you will be able to get an internship

Placement Experience

In B.Tech computer science, lpu has a huge placement drive where many multinational companies like amazon, Microsoft, Google, campegini, goldman sach and many more companies came to offer us the job...it's our duty to crack the opportunity and take the job

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is different based on which course you opt But I can surely say that the fees are comparatively low than other private universities and thanks to the scholarships that lpu give If you have secured good marks in 10th or 12th you are eligible for a scholarship and by scoring good in the entrance (LPUNEST) you can also grab the scholarship

Campus Life

The campus life is full of fun in lpu You literally have everything here You have games You have gym You have a swimming pool You have Bolling arena You have a shopping mall And more and more You will have a lot of fun besides your studies

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are very big and clean and also the people of hostels are very helpful There are many facilities like atm, food shop attached to every hostel Lpu has 10 hostels for boys and 10 separate for girls

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
