Placement college

The admission process was very simple and flexible, I took direct admission in Galgotias based on my 12th board's marks on merit online, I filed the application form from the college website and within 10 days I got my offer letter stating that I have been selected and had to pay an amount of 20,000 non refundable amount for the first time to book my seat that's all after that I got my admission no. and other details. The minimum criteria are that one must be scoring at least 50% in PCM or PCB in 12th plus should not be greater than 20 years of age, I applied for Amity University but their fees for 1 semester is the fee of 1 year in galgotias, it was very expensive and academics was also not very good moreover placements is far better in Galgotias.

I chose Btech ECE as I have a major interest in this field, I love Arduino and electronics, this course is NBA accredited in Galgotias and is amazon certified, faculties are experienced and caring, they think for the benefits of students and are very supportive also, they are very knowledgeable and share the extra knowledge with us also. There are 17 sections in total and in each section there are around 50 students so faculties are enough to teach us both in class and in the lab. Exams here are taken frequently along with assignments but results are published very late and management is very poor.

From 4th year students become eligible for placements, many companies visit like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro and many more, these are the mass recruiters, the highest salary was 22LPA offered from Adobe and 3LPA is the average salary, around 80% actually placed from on campus placements in 4 days. I will prepare for the DRDO exam after my graduation. Placements opportunities are given to students here at the max.

The fee is 1,59,000 including exam fee and tuition fee, library and lab fee. There is no fee hike policy rather there are many fines like debarred fines if attendance is less than 75%, back paper fee if failed in any subject and library fine. They offer merit scholarship to 10+2 level board toppers only and that too for only first year rest they say that they provide many scholarships but the truth is they don't it is just for show off.

The annual fest is hardly conducted as I told earlier management is very poor so don't expect anything extra from them, the library is small and only books related to engineering are there that too very less, AC dosen;t work in library nor wifi, classrooms though have AC but either they are damaged or they don't have maintenance it is same with the projector also so teacher teaches in whiteboard only. There are many societies like Motorsports, Literacy, Management, Gaming, Technical and many more but only these are active ones rest they hardly do anything.

The hostel is having 2 single beds, 2 tables and chair one small cupboard and 1 balcony along with walls are clean and floor tiles are there, 1 high speed router in each room and 2 lifts also as the hostel has 8 floors. Mess is run by SODEXO and they provide good and quality food with hygiene, I am satisfied with the quality of food, to take hostel just go to the college pay the fee in the registrar office take the receipt and give one copy to the warden, he will allow you the room. Gym, football, basketball and cricket grounds are there with proper grass and it is maintained on al daily basis.
