Course Curriculum Overview

1

The department needs to put more focus on bringing courses timely to students that help students get shaped into a better individual in the future but they fail to do so by adding irrelevant courses such as Marathi, English, Street Play. These courses not only waste the time and money but also waste the time thats meant to build future of that student. The faculty needs to get replaced. Most faculty is like they will teach you a 1000 thousand irrelevant things but not even a single relevant thing. I chose the university because of the affordability but due to my experience here I say any Delhi college having the degree I'm pursuing is much better.

Placement Experience

5

From 5th semester students become eligible for internship and jobs related to their courses. Department provides numerous opportunities and offers to students for enrolling in different internships and they help you get that. In bajmc I haven't seen any senior getting enrolled in a news channel yet but they do provide internship opportunities at other companies which may be alright. Most students get placed for internship somewhere or the other. My plans after getting the degree is to get back to news.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure Duration 3 years Tuition Fee (per annum) 90,000 Exam Fee (per annum) 20,000 Medical Insurance (Per Annum) 650 Caution Money (One Time Payment ) 2000 Student ID Card 1000 Apart from this there are various types of loans and financial schemes available for students from different states and quota.

Campus Life

3

GU Fest and other events happen. Celebrities come and do their part for PR and students enjoy the visit of a celebrity. The facilities are top notch. From entering into the university to classrooms. There are smart screens, comfortable chairs and acs. There are plants for fresh air and nature. There are many sports clubs available to join and other clubs such as acting, dance etc. There is student counsil that tries to get some influence but as such no good influence has been seen.

Admission

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing.

Faculty

1

Student faculty ratio is good. The faculty may look approachable but to be very honest they haven't been in the least. They behave like 2 year olds when it comes to helping the students who need them the most. The dean however has been good. Exams are like out of the box. What you study is different and what gets asked is like another corner of the world thing. There are courses that are mostly related to the degree but then there are courses such as marathi, communicative english, political sciences which are stupid and irrelevant.

Night Life

1

There are no nightlife spots near the university. You will have to travel 15 km away from university back to Knowledge Park 2 where the main greater noida is. As the university located at a location where there's trees and villages nearby.

Other Applied Colleges

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies - [VIPS] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Journalism and Mass Communication)

They didn't update the new ipu policy that each course is being shifted to a 4 year course from 3 year course which exceeded my budget.
